I didn't like Sam and Ainsley in my first go-round, but I've appreciated them more in rewatches. However I still think those two work together better off as friends. Sam and Mal had something special.

I agree that they had something special. I just really enjoyed them (Ansley and Sam) as much. If not more, but that may also have something to do with my love for Ansley and I really wanted to see her stick around.

I really love Donna and Josh, but I also enjoyed him with Amy and saw potential with him and Joey. That rarely happens with my ships.

You can say that again. My only ship that got endgame was Jay/Manny. Other than that no one gets endgame in that show.

I actually shipped Drew/Katie, but that ended badly so I guess I can say I'm disappointed there. Or a lesser liked ship that I feel only I shipped was Drew/Becky....

^The only person I ever shipped with Drew was Bianca and I'm forever bitter how that ended. They were so good together and brought out the best in each other and they fcking deserved that endgame.

I was always indifferent to all of Josh's romance drama TBH. (I liked -didn't love- him and Donna, and I wasn't opposed to the idea of him and Joey, and I was pretty okay with whatever it was they were hinting between him and Mandy early in S1, had she stayed around.... but Amy? I hated her and them together...)

Sam & Mal were it for me when it came to TWW. Not seeing them end up together, not even having a last minute "maybe in the future" hint broke my heart.

From TWW romances I also liked CJ/Simon and I was also sad that ended so abruptly even if I wasn't nearly that invested in them.

I did like CJ and Simon, I also know what you mean about Mandy and Josh. I saw hints of it. I really loved Josh and Donna though. They were my Sam and Mal. I also really loved Jed and Abby! They were always great.

I never really got into them honestly. I don't know maybe it was because of how they started.
