His prom rant was disgusting

if that had been Dawson he would have been crucified by fans, but apparently Pacey's too perfect and forgivable for that.

I do love how every season represented DJ, no matter what the status of their relationship was. Everything still always came back to them. And people just expected that, (in the show,) and were never surprised when they reunited or got close to reuniting.

I dont get the Dawson hate actually. Pacey was a monster to Joey that night, Dawson never came even close to being like that with Joey or with anyone else for that matter. But that outburst was good to watch,

it had to happen, they had it coming ever since they left on the boat for the summer.

That is why the finale was a shock, I think everyone, and I mean everyone knew it was going to be DJ, and so it was such a surprise. It wasnt a pleasant one for me, but what pleased me was that everyone knew DJ were endgame, till those last 5 minutes were aired.

I think people hate on Dawson simply because of this jealousy aspect of the fact that he not only pursued his dream, but got to live his dream. Honestly, I think that irritates people.

And they also think he was possessive of Joey, which is laughable when you consider how Pacey was about her in Season 4, afraid of losing her to just about anything or anyone

If Dawson ever came across as possessive, it's only because he loved that girl completely. They were soulmates! Isn't it natural to feel totally connected and bonded to that person and, um, not wanna lose that person to your best friend?

It was. I remember watching it, just everyone I knew, me included, was totally stunned by the outcome. After 6 years, DJ just seemed set in stone and to have it not happen... Just seemed like a betrayal.

Yep, he was the only one who became what he dreamed of becoming. He matured and finally grew up. That bugs people.

I dont think Dawson was possesive of Joey at all, he just had a hard time letting go, and whats so wrong about that.

He fought for her, even unfair at times, (but that was crappy writing) but he let her go. He didnt hold her back, like they always blamed him for.

And I dont even want to compare Pacey to Dawson. I think we all saw how insecure, mopey, immature and smothering Pacey could be.

Just thinking of the finale depresses me.

I know it was always DJ, but seeing it wouldve made me so much happier.

IA that most of it can be put down to crappy writing. In the mid seasons (I'm pinpointing the 3rd here), Dawson was demonized, and it was a terrible decision to make for his character. All to make PJ seem acceptable, Dawson was made to look like a complete ass. And Andie, too, her and the relationship with Pacey were totally undermined.

Ugh, I hated S3, for the very same reason, why I hate it even more than S6. I might, just might have liked PJ, if they hadnt hurt Dawson and Andie so much. TPTB just destroyed everything to make PJ look good. It was just really pathetic and shamefully shoddy writing. Suddenly Dawson was evil, and Andie was a nobody.

They ruined the two best relationships on DC,

so that PJ wuld make sense. News flash, they still didnt make any sense.

starting watchin S5 dvd's...man its hard getting through the long goodbye...sooo emotional...soo many tears...

one episode where all the characters love each other...because of this one guy...

dawson's dad rocked everyones world...especially DJ!
