Yes well, once we got the board this couples thread just wasn't used. And not surprisingly the frustration of the last 10 episodes, and the way they cancelled the show threw a damper on the past year. I admit I haven't sat down to collect the Ethan and Emma scenes from the second ten episode yet. I recall the frustrating problems for our couple that Sutton caused.

It was such a shame what the writers did to them.

I'm thinking if the show had continued, they would have made their way back to each other, esp. with the reveal of Thayer being crazy.

Oh certainly, Ethan would have gotten over the guilt he felt with Dan over Theresa, after all, it wouldn't have made any difference if he told about Ted right away, Ted didn't do it. And Dan would have calmed down with his grief. He was polite to Sutton at the end, so I think he would still have preferred Emma for Ethan over Sutton.

Ethan wouldn't be able to stay away from Emma for long. And Emma was so upset over everything it would probably be she who caused the next ruckus by wanting to go back to Vegas. I would love to see that, and Ethan chasing her there to bring her back, so he would get to meet Lexie and see what Emma's life was like before.

I do wish we could have gotten the rest of the season. As a wrap up without any more cliff hangers.

I'm still not sure Thayer was crazy, they may have had some sneaky misrepresentation going there. Like he found that pipe at his dad's place. Maybe he went to confront his dad on the roof and his dad attacked him and fell through the ceiling. I still think Alec was the most evil character, along with Rebecca.

I was thinking about Thayer, since you mentioned him. I wonder if Thayer was only interested in Emma because Ethan was in love with her. You know, as in competing with the guy that stole Sutton from him. Scoring over Ethan? He seemed to come on to her right away, when he was still into Sutton. I still remember Thayer walking into the bedroom while she slept the morning after he first met her. He freaked Emma out.

I went through the second half of the first season yesterday. It was so depressing, although a couple good EE scenes at the start, then Sutton is just messing up everything. I'm not sure I want to do the second season. But there are one or two good scenes there, so I guess I will carry on. I just cut out everything I don't like.

I still wish they had gotten the other ten episodes, and I hope they would have put Ethan and Emma back together again in the end. I like stories with tidy endings. I still re-watch Hollywood Heights because it was one complete story line, without the random, ever changing relationship drama that made Ethan and Emma act so OOC. I still find the whole Emma-Thayer fiasco ridiculous, and not believable. And Ethan would not have gone back with Sutton when Emma was mad at him. Once he had experienced Emma's goodness and caring, Sutton's advances would have been distasteful to him. He thought about things. I'm not even sure I can believe the first one night fling when he was drunk and had just fought with Emma, but as he was so horrified the next morning, he wouldn't have fallen back into that relationship so easily.

The writers needed unnecessary drama for whatever reason.

I've been seeing promos for a new show that Blair is going to be in on USA called "Satisfaction". I don't know if he's a regular or just recurring, though.
