I recently had a whole scenario in my head where he had to lie about being GG. Blair finds out and then convinces him to go on the hunt with her to locate the real person who blackmailed him.

That's more plausible than the show.

I don't even consider anything on the show Canon b/c Dan as GG jumped the shark for me.

I love how this couple are still on the front page! God, they were amazing. Never as obsessed with a couple as much since Ben and Felicity. It ended on the Met steps for me. Dan being Gossip Girl turned him into the biggest creep of all time, so I'm happy with my ending.
