I think the huge gap between s2 part 1 and part 2i's gonna hurt the ratings, even more since most people aren't thrilled with the direction of the show.

I'll be fine if the show ends after s2 ONLY if the ending for Damon/Emily is happy, and by happy i mean them being together without angst or contrived stuff.

Which one? 2x01 or 2x02?
2x01: No damon 2x02: 3 Damon/Emily scene + a love scene at the end (well love scene, they start making out and you have to imagine what's next lol). Really loved their scenes last night, lots of kisses  __________________

Damon writing a love song for Emily?
Isn't anyone excited to see if Damon (Johnny Pacar) manages to write a love song for Emily tonight? Did you think it a little overboard that he is acting like she is dead and not just in seclusion? I wonder if this is so that the song can be turned into something for Kaylie to sing about Maeve. "Lost and lonely beauty queen is gone" Anyone out there?
