ITA... I find it laughable when people like Katie Jacobs say that it has been there from the beginning... excuse me, it has NOT. Am I the only one who remembers at the end of S1 Cuddy telling House to go for Cameron, because she was the only one who could tolerate him? Also, the "House hallucinates Cuddy and their sex" storyline is RIDICULOUS. It has already been done in the S2 finale with House/Cameron, except that scene was actually subtle and had chemistry

BTW this is NOT bashing Lisa. I'm just criticizing, not calling her names.

Another horrible House ship is Chase/Cameron. They have never made sense together and only got together because of the actors dating IRL. They have horrible, HORRIBLE chemistry.

They have in no way ever shown Cuddy to be a neglectful mother, in the end she DID choose her child over House, despite what he hallucinated. And just because we don't see the kid all the time, that doesn't mean Cuddy's a bad mother. Stating preference for the Huddy storyline over the baby thing isn't her wishing for Cuddy to ignore her kid, it's part of how she interprets the both storylines, as with this quote:

"The baby is fine, but I don't think it's really about that. I'm sure it will be woven through, it grounds her to have a child. I think it gives her more of a life than she had. But ultimately it's not about that, the show is not about that. The show is about the hospital and the inner relationships at the hospital."

I happen to agree with this viewpoint, and I'm not trying to bash you personally, just pointing out the reasons why I disagree with what you said.

Pardon me if I'm getting a little heated, I just happen to feel that there is just ZERO need to mention actors at all in this thread because you're straying into dangerous territory when you do, and an actors opinions on a pairing or character shouldn't influence how YOU feel at the end of the day. Their opinion is their opinion, just as yours is yours, it shouldn't change your feelings and therefore I see no need for actors to be discussed at all.

Did I say they had show her as a bad mother? I think I haven't, but if I have I apologize. What I WAS trying to say is that I hope Lisa's preference of the Huddy storyline over the baby storyline doesn't influence the writers, making them forget she DOES have a child and this child HAS to be more important than House for her. So mine was more of a hope they don't show her as a bad mother.

I'm sorry, but I disagree with this. Of course what Lisa thinks doesn't influence me at all, but I can and will say (respectfully, of course, which I think I did) that I don't agree with her views on things. We say all the time about Harry Potter how we disagree with JKR's view on things (HG mostly) and think what she likes is horrible. How is this different? Both Lisa and JKR are real people, and we are allowed to criticize them and disagree with them, without bashing (nobody here ever said that Lisa/Jo are stupid because they think HCu/HG are good couple. We are just saying that we think their opinions are wrong.

I never liked HCu I always thought she would be perfect for wilson. I like House and cuddy but not together.

In House I hardly watch for my ships anyway I enjoy most of the time like a certain ship state does not effect the show for me.

Same here. I used to like House/Cuddy but now I have no opinion on them hooking up / possibly having a romantic relationship on the show. I'm like the biggest shipper whore for most of the TV shows I watch but IMHO, shows like Grey's Anatomy and particularly House start to fail when they focus on the romantic relationships rather than the central premise /storylines on the show. Hence, my non-shippage of couples on both shows. I did like Christina/Burke (GA) but of course that went to h*ll in the end anyway.

Adding to my list: Betty/Henry (UB). HAAAAAAATTTTE him and them together, he always turns up at the worst possible time and somehow manages to sabotage Betty's current relationships. I don't get why TPTB tries to shove B/H into the fans' throats time and time again when IMO it's clear that Betty has grown so much as a person and has moved on from him to more viable love interests. He contributes NOTHING to her development as a person and their scenes together are about as exciting as watching paint dry. Daniel, Gio and Matt are all 10000000X better for Betty than him.

IMO actors can have preferences on what couples they like, it doesnt mean you can bash them. I never saw any chemistry betweeen House and Cameron, so Im glad they never went there. And on House the medicine thing got repetitive and boring so its a good change of pace for me in season 4. I mean in seasons 1-3 House refused a case, got intriqued when someone gave him an odd ball about the patient, then only solved the case in the last few minutes when we got a clue to solve it, lol.

I don't watch BB but I agree with you about the other two shows. Especially Liz and Jason. They pretty much ruined an entire year (or more) of GH for me. It was Liz and Jason ALL the time and all the scenes were the same old thing.

Liz: I don't care what you do for a living.
Jason: It's too dangerous.
Liz: But I love you.
Jason: I love you too. But I need to protect you.
Liz: I just want to be a family, with you and Cameron and Jake.
Jason: I want that too. More than anything. But we can't.
Liz: sob.

Gag me. I was over it the second it started. It ruined both characters for me (characters I HAD liked) and was just so horrible.
