I admire you for being able to look past this... Because I agree with you it's absolutely fine and admirable to love someone in spite of their faults. But ignoring who the person you love is, and willing yourself to believe they aren't who they are, is a whole other story.... and that's where Belle is for me. That Rumple also coasts on that is a HUGE problem. If he at least showed some sort of remorse or guilt... but I don't see that. He seems fairly content that she will, literally, let him get away with murder.

I really dislike Zoe/George centric episodes.... they just bore me to tears too!
At least there was some sort of resolution and I feel they've put the Zoe/George=Picture Perfect True love thing to rest (at least for a while)... if I don't have to sit through another episode of someone claiming they are "perfect for each other" ever again I'll be so freakin' happy!

CW Shows/ badly written love triangles

I can't name one CW show that doesn't involve at least one. Beauty and the Beast's Vincent/Alex has tipped me over the edge of CW couple triangle hate. I really should learn and stay away from such shows by now. I actually enjoy well written love triangles but when they are added just for tension

Vincent was written as honorable and watching the last episode with Alex was like watching a different character.

Tristan/Bella: Oh man, I had so high hopes for this one. But OMG it's just so badly written. I feel like my brain is leaking out of my skull every time they have a scene together.

Now, I have never been the biggest fan of those "excusatory" ships where one partner is evil and the other one loves them anyway, etc. But usually, I could get the appeal of a lot of them, even though I personally draw the line on a lot of them. But again, in most couples I get the appeal why the one person (usually the girl) is drawn to the guy and why people go nuts over these ships. But here it's just stupid/makes no sense. It's like two aliens talking to each other.

Maybe one aspect is that it's because it completely lacks the feeling of underdogness that those ships usually have (like original Chuck/Blair, Veronica/Logan, Damon/Elena). Or they are laid thick with this sense of nobility (like Edward/Bella). This story has none of that.

And I actually always liked the guy and I was really rooting for him to finally get a girl who really gets him, etc. And now it happened and the result is just atrocious. They have turned one of my most favourite, most fascinating characters ever and turned him into an annoying dick I don't even recognize anymore.

I think this applies to pretty much every network and shows that rely on triangles.

Which is why I would personally generalise that as

TV shows/Triangles.

It's my worst TV cliche! it's like you can't have a show that won't at some point in some way, do a triangle, and I kinda resent that, especially in how they NEVER resolve them and then move on.
