Perfectly describes one Kack scene in particular. Well, most of them, really, but especially this one.

Jack: What happened? Where's Aaron?
Kate: STFU and don't ask about your nephew's whereabouts. For all you know, I cooked him and ate him. Is none of your bidness.
Jack: Got it. Don't really care much, anyway. I was just trying to be polite.
Kate: Now let me swallow your head in order to overcompensate this dark, icky, ominous scene while dark, icky, ominous music plays and I look like death warmed over. You turned on yet?
Jack: YEAH! You're HOT when you're catatonic and depressed and unhappy, eyes swollen shut!
Kate: Good to know you can actually get it up in the middle of all my pain & misery. I need a grief! to drown my sorrows over Aaron.

Though I'm kind of loving Santana/Karofsky. I don't hate him as much as I used to. If he's really serious about being nicer.

And Brittany/Artie... I can't say I HATE them. I do think they're kind of cute. But I want them to be done and over with. Like right now.

But I hated them in Duets. Artie pissed me off when he got mad at Brittany for ~taking his virginity and not loving him. They had never talked before, she approaches him in the beginning of the week to be duet partners, then later in the week (a couple days later?) they have sex. He gets mad at her because she just used him and she should have known that sex was so important to him. Um. If sex was so important to him, then why did he have sex with a girl that only started talking to him at the beginning of the week??? He could have said no. But he didn't. He had no right to be upset about that.

Agreed. I'm about ready to give up on the show I was thinking of sticking around as long as Elijah is alive and he and Elena keep having scenes, but maybe I'll just catch them on YT. I can't even say why, b/c I understand the path they're taking most of the characters through, but I don't feel attached to the show anymore

I have to say I really loved that Blair told Chuck he wouldn't be ready for a true relationship for years. It's so true and she needed to turn the tables on Chuck and stop blaming herself for not being ready and start realizing Chuck needs to do a lot of work on himself as well.

In fact I predicted she would do that, but I thought it'd be in the finale! I don't get it now, because saying that to Chuck in the finale would be such a good way to "redeem" him in s5 and have him attempt to be better for her which he hasn't done one lick of since the IP. He's just escaped all of his problems, made excuses and been self destructive.

And even still, what does he hope to accomplish by snorting coke and drinking whiskey for breakfast? Shouldn't her speech have inspired him to make a change? But no. More wallowing and self-pity and inaction because he expects everything to just come to him.

I've never seen a more selfish character who makes no effort to make any sort of change or improvement. What a child. It's all he does.

The IP - He dares Blair to love him and calls her scared not to. He plays games with her and tries to sabotage her happiness instead of trying to win her back or apologize or show how much he cares for her.

The Empire State Building - Blair doesn't show up, and once again, Chuck having already made no effort and forcing Blair to make all of it, sleeps with Jenny and then runs away to sleep with hookers and get drunk in Prague instead of doing anything about it.

Current - Blair tells him he's a child and isn't ready for a relationship and what does he do? Does he re-evaluate things and decide it's time to improve himself so he can be worthy of Blair and actually deserve her and win her back? NO. He cokes it up, drinks it up and tries to make her life miserable so he can force her back to him once again. Because haven't you heard, he's the LOVE OF HER LIFE. They are MEANT TO BE. That gives Chuck no reason to put forth any EFFORT WHATSOEVER because he doesn't have to try, that's how epic and meant to be they are.
