Couples of the Moment #44: Because these couples define chemistry.
I royally suck at titles, so I'm just going with the one from the last thread.
 Carter/Serena.  The scene in the woods was amazing. "Who the hell is he not to want you?"  They definitely surpassed what I was expecting for them.And of course, Chuck/Blair.  And Barney/Robin. One week!__________________

Gah, I wasn't expecting much from Carter/Serena.
I always thought, just the way the two characters were set up, they had a lot of potential. But with DS being so damn forced, I figured, they wouldn't write CaS well.  But oh my god, "Who the hell is he not to want you?" I love the way he delivered this line. It was almost furious and very passionate. I loved the whole horseback riding off scene, and I loved that finally Serena has someone she's not afraid to confide it. Because he doesn't care about who Serena feels she needs to be. That was one of the main reasons I shipped NS and now Idk, Nate kind of sucks, and Carter might be even better at getting Serena to accept herself. So yay, new ship.  I am kind of a shipping **** when it comes to S. I just want her to be with someone who brings out her best and real side.  (I still have zero faith in the writers. So I'm going in on this one, the way I went in with JB, expecting failure. )CB were so freaking adorable. I'm not gonna lie, I still don't feel them as much as I did, but I think I will.  And Barney/Robin one more week!!! (House/Cuddy too but it doesn't sound good for them...  )__________________

I know. I'm really happy I can still enjoy them at all. It will be a long journey before I can go back to season one love for them. I just hope the writers don't go crazy.
He really owned that scene. And I think Blake can be a very good actress(she rocked in Elvis and Annabelle) but she has a hard time sometimes on GG, and I think she did great in the scene too. I have no hope for them. But I really really want to.  __________________

It was just a perfect scene.
CaS and the daddy van der Woodsen storyline were the best parts of the episode, for me. And I hope, against better judgement, that they're treated fairly. We all know DS are endgame, but please don't use CaS as a catalyst.Quote:

Serena and Carter: Loved them, but at the same time i dont wanna get too much invested because carter isnt a regular |

I really don't want DS to be endgame.
She doesn't have to end up with Carter or Nate. Just not Dan! I know they will though, I just hope that CaS are a seperate love for Serena and not something that leads her back to Dan. And I hope Sebastian stays and all of the people who will hate them because its not DS, don't make the writers get rid of him. Since apparently its a, lets see how the audience likes him kind of thing.  I loved the Dad plotline. It makes so much sense for S' character. __________________

Carter is so interesting, and Sebastian is an amazing actor no doubt it. Blake and him, have the most chemistry I've ever seen in a Serena pairing.__________________

I don't think there's any way the negative backlash will overcome the popularity Carter and CaS have already and will gain with the season progressing.
It was perfect. And the "I would have stayed with you all summer", and how she ditched him again. It just flowed. I'm totally going to watch it again before I go to bed. Or a few times. Carter>>>>>>>>>>>>Vanessa. And Sebastian is so great.__________________
