So to be a bit sentimental; Old school OTH/my teen years NH s1-3/life Lucas/Nathan (Their relationship was THE backbone of the show) Lucas/Haley This remains one of my fav moments/codas from the show. After this, Lie in the Sound became one of my favorite songs, just so beautiful |

Ron/Hermione.
I literally get chills over my body watching this video. I remember reading DH and halfway through the book I wanted to throw things because they had yet to kiss. When I got to page 625, I silent screamed and ran through my grandparents' house in joy. We've been waiting for a decade to see them kiss, and my HP emotions are just all over the place, which only exacerbates my Ron and Hermione addiction. The timing crept up on me, and now I'm remembering all of the hardcore shipping I used to do back in the days when ship wars were still rampant withing the fandom. I still ship them, but I rarely get occasion to express my feelings, and DHp2 is triggering a flood of word vomit and tears of both depression at HP ending and of joy at my OTP finally kissing for all the fandom to see. __________________

OMG, all that Romione love in this thread Harry Potter/Life Harry/Luna Ron/Hermione The Trio/Life James/Lily Bill/Flear Quote:
And as usual, OTP's for life (and some arts I've made for each of them ) Spike/Buffy I was a Buffy fan long before becoming a Spuffy fan. I admired this heroine and everything she was about. I related to her, I loved her. However, at some point, somehere closer to the ending of S5, Spike stole my heart. I still felt for Buffy, my heart was tearing of the pain she had to go through, but Spike as a character happened to be something so special and unique and like no other character ever existed before. I loved him not just as a part of Spuffy, I loved him an an individual, as a character who was clearly an experimental game for Joss to explore how far a vampire can come. And Spike came as far as possible. His journey was incredible and it wasn't about degradation of a character through which his tragicness was supposed to be shown, but through his evolation. Because this is what Joss only approved. He showed that bad things Spike did where bad and wrong. He didn't justify him for that. But he also showed that his evolation, his ability to love, his will to try and do everything to become a good man is incredibly amazing. I could relate to S6 Buffy a lot in terms of growing up, dealing with problems, depression, money issues. But I think on a deeper level I could relate to Spike more. He wanted to go completelly against the nature, against the system, he was a rebel and it was very inspiring. If you ask me who loved whom more, I'd say Spike loved Buffy more without any doubt. Maybe even by far more. And I see nothing wrong with it. Spike lived 100 + years. He saw and did things that a 22 years old girl, even a slayer, couldn't even imagine. His love was something as unique as himself. I am not trying to say that Buffy wasn't unique, she definitelly was special, but Spike's uniqueness couldn't be topped, because his journey was long long run and an eternal fight and years, many years of doing something nobody else ever did. There was a conflict: this young girl with a mission and with a quite large life experience for her years, and a vampire who could love her as strongly as she could imagine. She wanted to feel, but wouldn't let herself feel. She pushed him away. She had to deal with things a lot of 22 years old girls have to deal, not just fictional female super heroes. And the fact that she managed to finally open her heart to Spike even after years of having walls built around it says a lot. Everything else was/is just a matter of time. Freddie/Effy From the very start till the bitter end they where my type of a pairing. A damaged relationship between two damaged people. A love that shouldn't have been, but yet, it had. A love that was worth fighting for, no matter if you win or lose in the end. And that's what this two did - they kept fighting for their love, desperately and going through loads of pain. A girl who kept rejecting the world and keeping her heart locked, because she was afraid of feelings, and a boy who was ready to give his love to the world, but the world didn't need his love. But she did need it. And when this two souls met each other, when they first layed their eyes on each other, there immediatelly was a spark that kept becoming brighter and brighter and growing into a fire. And there was no way back since then. They kept running away from it and hiding from it, but their love was stronger than their fears and the denying. They where two young people in love, two broken damaged souls. They didn't know how to deal with this kind of feeling, how to handle it right, how to express it right and how tell tell each other about what they felt. But they found a way to do it: Freddie found a way to tell Effy about his feelings even without declaring them or putting them into words, because there is one type of a love declaraction that is better than words - a kiss Finally Effy allowed herself to love him, and Freddie accepted her the way she was - this broken girl who kept hurting him so bad and loving him so strong at the same time. He already had to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders and he accepted this girl and welcomed her into his troubled life. And since then he gave up everything he had to make her better. He would go against his family to spend more time with her when she got ill, he would willingly bring back the painful memories of his mother's illness and suicide to figure out what was going on with Effy, he would ignore all the warnings about caring too much not doing him any good - his world revolved around this girl. And he would risk literally everything for this girl, even his own life. Freddie did more for Effy than anyone else in the world. When she was at her worst and told him about her inner demons, blaming him for making her weak and breaking his heart into million pieces he just listened to her and promised to fight them - and he did. He fought her freaking demons! He was her hero in every sense of that word. When she broke his heart again, he ended up making a heroic sacrifice due to protect her. And if you ask me why I love this two so much, the answer would be - because with Freddie, ironically and despite all the silent beauty of their relationship, Effy got a chance to finally find her voice. With Freddie she could finally speak it up, open up, let it out, FEEL. She allowed herself to feel everything with him Sawyer/Kate this is the rare case when I loved both female and male half of my OTP I think Kate was incredible. She wasn't perfect, in fact she was very flawed. She was a typical example of a troubled young woman with unresolved issues to deal with and secrets to hide. The island was supposed to be a place where she can hide, because as long as she had known herself she had been running away and searching for such a place. However, she found a person who made her feel like home by figuring her out and making her - not by forcing her but by trying to understand her - to leave off her mask, to stop running away, to reviel her secrets and be honest with herself and with him. James "Sawyer" Ford was that person. This two spent a lot of time trying to understand each other. Just the fact that they barely knew each other and yet where still trying to do it tells a lot. And to figure each other out they had to face their own inner demons and fears and fight them. They formed their connection long before starting having an affair and that's why their love was first and foremost spiritual and only then physical. Their love was equal in every way. They where willing to die for each other and sacrifice their lives so one another would live and be happy. This is the purest form of love, in my opinion. __________________

"I think now, he’s just so weathered and kind of numb. I think that’s slowly changing because of meeting Elena." When Elijah - the millenniums-old Original legendary among vampires for his code of honor, elegance, and lethality - came to Mystic Falls, dressed to kill and eager to do so, it was merely to settle a few old scores. Kill Trevor in a suitably amusing way, Rose too if she didn't watch herself, and try to use Katherine to lure out Klaus; failing that, rip her heart out for toying with his. Instead, he was brought face to face with the impossible: Elena Gilbert - a human Petrova doppleganger - piss-**** scared, her pretty pink sweater covered in blood. |

‘Castle and Beckett try and figure out what it means, they play things in subtext, neither one of them wants to be the one exposing themselves or to be the one to say,”I love you” first because the bar for how hurt they could get if the other one doesn’t respond is so high. Because of the investment they have in the relationship, I think they’re both tip-toeing into it and tip-toeing around it.’ — Andrew Marlowe (Feb 2011)

This should have been the series finale. I remember watching this episode and thinking that was the end. Another favorite Nathan moment. __________________
