I agree, it was a lot easier to ignore his feelings when she didn’t know how deep they were. Since her friend Joey hadn’t been in love before, she could think that he was incapable of love, at least on that level.

Yeah, & even though he told her that he was in love with her, she never really saw his actions, like how happy he always was to see her, & how he did things like encourage her to move in with Ross even though it really hurt him

He did, he always tried to help her, even in her other relationships... something which Ross never did, in fact he actively tried to ruin them

That he did. Remember when a guy called and asked for Rachel? He never gave her the message. Although, I love that he didn't give her his number, because it allowed her to move back in with Joey. So thank you Ross, for being so selfish. Joey has always been selfless. Even in friendships. That was one of the reasons he didn't wanna tell Rachel, was because of his friendship with Ross. I don't think any of the other friends would have done that.

Exactly! Such a good example of what I was talking about, & they're really are loads more. Like how when he talked about calling immigration on Paolo

Joey helped Ross & Rachel when he could, & he set Rachel up with the soap opera guy too when she asked. He always respected what she wanted & what made her happy.
