Rachel and Joey, however, made sense.

I was thinking the same thing. With Emily, he couldn't leave Ben, even though he was for the most part, an absent father. Yet with Emma, who he shared custody with Rachel, he didn't seem bothered by her leaving. Makes no sense.

I agree. I love that scene, best part of that story line! Normally I fast forward the RR stuff, but I do watch that scene!

Yup... I guess as viewers we were suppose to believe just because of the history, that they were still in love with each other although they haven't been together in 6 years... okay.

That is just a gross reason. Like seriously, by that logic... where is my Leonardo DiCaprio then because I've had a crush on him since I was a kid... so shouldn't I get to end up with him then?!
