Season 10 and season 1 ranks as my top 2 least favorites. Didn't care for season 3 much as well. |

I don't think I'll ever be over j/R not ending up together.
It was always frustrating enough the way they wrote some break ups (ie Gary shooting a bird, Danny and his sister's weird relationship, etc)...but J/R had a lot of build up just for it to be torn apart so quickly and ridiculously. PS.-Oh, and has anyone else noticed that the Netflix version of TOW Rosita died edits out the "We're the cobras" line? __________________

JR should've ended up together.

Yup. Friends made the same mistake that a LOT of tv shows make by for some reason believing first loves should end up together... and it makes no sense to me because people grow and change... I felt by season 10 both Rachel and Ross had long outgrown that relationship. If they wanted them to end up together they should have started rebuilding the romance element right from season 8 which they did not do....

First loves can end up together, but in RR's case... no. They both grew and RJ was more mature and should've ended up together.

^ Yup, in their case they haven't been together in a long time, they literally had Ross say, "I mean, we haven't been a couple in like, six years. Oh my god, is that right? Has it been that long?"
Yup it had been that long so no, I don't buy it... Quote:
I actually would have been more okay with the storyline being Ross not being able to accept Rachel job being in Paris because of how much he loved Emma... to me that story makes more sense to me. |

It does, but Ross didn't say one word about Emma in that whole thing
There's a sad symmetry there, where Rachel getting a career & a stronger sense of self is what lead them to breaking up in the first place, then them getting back together meant she had to give up a great career opportunity in Paris __________________

^ And that was my issue when I watched it for the first time, I was thinking more of it being selfish that Rachel could accept Ross to accept her moving to Paris when they had a daughter... however, the writing didn't really mention Emma at all which confused me... I felt that should've been the main issue about Ross not wanting to be a long distance father and wanted to be my his daughter side as he grew up...
It is pretty ironic and sad that it was either Rachel Vs her career... that is pretty bad... |

Right like with Emily... Ross didn't want to move because of Ben but then with Rachel... Emma who? It made no sense.
Rachel and Joey, however, made sense. __________________
