Oh yeah, I agree. I am so glad tv has progressed, for the most part, past toxic relationships to healthy, best friends kind of relationships. I love those so much. I mean, look at my pic! The gold standard! Joey and Rach, so sad that they were ten or fifteen years too soon.

Same, I do remember a review coming out at the time though saying something like 'we're expected to believe that after 10 years of them not working together, it's suddenly all ok' & I love that there was someone in the media who though that

People talk about RR's history, like all that stuff is the reason they should be together, when really it just shows you all the reasons they don't work

1000% agree. If I buy the finale, then I know for a fact, that they would have broke up within a year.

Oh definitely, they just didn't work. There's a reason that they got together at the last minute & didn't have a long stable relationship actually on screen like Monica & Chandler did

I bet Ross has been divorced like 7 times by now

Nah... from what I've seen, the more years that goes by, the more people love J/R and more people see how R/R wouldn't have worked long term although yes RR still has a lot of fans.

I agree, the more time that passes, the more that people curve towards Joey/Rachel.

It's always fun on tumblr when every now & then, I see that someone has reblogged some of my J/R gifsets, so I check out their page & see that they've been on a whole Joey/Rachel spree, & I think 'good, we've got another one'

I agree. It's nice to see more people appreciating Joey and Rach.

So do you think Joey ever got used to Rachel's sister Amy? If they stayed together, they would have spent more time together at holidays and so on. I can just see it now, because I don't think he would have. Plus the kids would have been equally annoyed.
