I thought we'd see them date too - I think the biggest thing that surprised me about the beginning of s10 was that it picked up straight away. I thought that they would have slept together & the next ep would pick up on the morning after.

I think it's a shame Joey & Rachel didn't get a chance because I feel like 'The One Where Ross Is Fine' episode was just a waste of an episode. For Ross to move on and accept that it's been a long time since he and Rachel to be together, and to learn how to deal with Joey and Rachel was such a step up and a pivotal moment. .. I just don't get the meaning of that, only to have Joey & Rachel break up the exact next episode.

I agree. I think they should of had them date for a bit. Only thing I can think of is that they found it 10 was the last season and the plan was to get Ross and Rachel back together at the end so they had to break up Joey and Rachel in the beginning to get to that point. It is a shame if it was because of that.

I think the only reason the writers did all that was so that Rachel & Joey could break up in some way & Ross wouldn't be the bad guy

It was pretty lazy, after all that buildup, I don't think the writers really did them justice in the end.

Lol. She had fun living with him. Really they were my favorite roomies. Chandler and Joey would be second and rachel/ Monica third.

I agree - although Chandler & Joey are a really, really close second! Ross & Phoebe were funny when they lived together too

I agree. It is a really close first and second for me. I just loved Chandler and joey as room mates. I loved when joey tried to talk bad about chandler as a room mate and then was like " who am I kidding, he's the best room mate ever:" and then pushes monica out of the way to hug chandler. LOL

I think to Joey it would be Chandler, but his hottest roommie would be Rachel... as he said before. lol
