It kind of annoys me though, that afterwards they stopped showing Joey's POV. I mean we saw the awkwardness between them in TOW the tea leaves, & then the one line in the season 8 finale where he talks about how she turned him down, but we just didn't see him dealing with his feelings, the writers just pretended that he got over it

Probably he never got over it but just had to accept what happened and move on for Rachel and Ross....I think he wanted her but he just hid those feelings because she did reject him and he just tried to move on with it......

I truly don't believe he ever got over it though.

yeah, same, I don't think he'll ever love anyone the way he loved Rachel

& Joey just not being around any of the friends anymore just doesn't make sense to me, it's bad enough that he doesn't see Rachel all the time anymore.

Oh well, at least in my mind JR ended up together

I agree with you...I think he would have still somehow contacted with all the Friends again but I guess the Joey show kind of ruined that imagination?

It was, it was a shame because I loved the whole series so much but s10 was a letdown in a lot of ways for me

Not just with JR, but I thought the comedy/writing was dumbed down a lot.

& I know! I love how the moments parallel each other too, I think we see a lot of times where Joey is there for Rachel, so it's great to show that Rachel has been there for Joey a lot too

I always love when a J/R thread is active.
I just recently rewatched the episode 'TOW Joey Dates Rachel', I just love the episode so much. Rachel was so depressed and Joey wanted to relieve her of that by taking her out on a date, not caring if he was out with a pregnant lady. The episode was just so good for to from beginning to ending.
