Emelie Reasons why we love Clark/Lois: Because they are a timeless romance. Because their first meeting was just too memorable. Because she had to tell herself to "Look at his face.", after finding him naked in a field. Because she just didn't leave him stranded in the field. Because she took him to the hospital. Because he had no problem picking her up. Because she'd seen many of his different sides already. Because she'd take a nerd with glasses any day of the week. Because he let her know she wasn't alone. Because he remembered who she was, and all the quirks that went along with her. Because she thought his mom was cool. Because he invited her to stay at his house. Because he helped her find out the truth about Chloe. Because she doesn't always have to be rescued by him. Because she had no problem walking into the bathroom while he was taking a shower. Because she wasn't offended the first time she caught a glimse of "Clark Junior." Because she was wearing his shirt. Because she couldn't see him and Lana as a couple. Because they finish each other's sentences. Because she doesn't know how he ever survived without her...and neither do we. Because even Lana could see that the best ones always started out the way they did. Because he checked her out. Because she dunked him. Because they share the cutest smile exchanges ever! Because Chloe saw it all starting between the two of them. Because she didn't think they (the Superman colors), were his colors. Because she asked how he looked in a swimsuit. Because they bicker like an old married couple already. Because she'll see him around. Because we love it when she calls him, Smallville. Because she saved him from almost taking someone's life. Because she let him know everything was going to be okay. Because he got so angry when she was in danger, and demanded to know where she was. Because the way he cradled her after he saved her was too romantic. Because she thanked him for saving her life. Because he never thought he'd be happy to hear her voice, but he was. Because he let her know she could continue staying with his family. Becaus she gladly took him up on his offer. Because she told him she would try to keep her shower under half an hour. Because he was already whipped by her, lol. Because she wanted to name the dog, Clarkie. Because of how cute they were when they were bickering while driving. Because she let him know he could name his next dog, Krypto (which we all know, is their dog.) Because he could tell when she wanted something. Because he admitted having her and her sister, Lucy around took the loneliness out of the house. Because he came to let her know there was dinner on the table. Because he knew she'd be the type to be there for her sister no matter what. Because he didn't think Lucy was all that bad. Because she thought he was amazing with how he could see the best in people, even when they walk all over him. Because he admitted they were friends now, but he wouldn't tell anyone if she didn't. Because the way she playfully punches him is just a sign on love. Because they were those two stars colliding. Because of the utter "aww" look he had when he saw her (even though it was really Dawn, in her body), coming down the stairs in her prom dress. Because she never made it to her senior prom, but went with him to his. Because he asked her to dance, even though she knew it was Lana he really wanted to be dancing with. Because when he lost his memory again, she was there for him. Because she told him to trust his gut. Because she let him know he was on the right track. Because she took time to check up on him. Because of the way he guarded the wax figure of her. Because she helped him tie his tie. Because he thought she'd be good in Journalism. Because she figured she'd be paired opposite the most bubbling reporter at The Daily Planet (which we all know is him.) Because she admitted he looked handsome for a change. Because he took that as a compliment. Because he didn't know what he was going to do without her. Because she took his flowers, but handed them back to him. Because they hugged. Because he was jealous of A.C./Aquaman. Because he was only looking out for her. Because she didn't need another person looking out for her. Because he let her know she would meet someone even more special someday (which we all know is him.) Because they both went undercover together. Because she gave him a lapdance. Because he didn't know where to put the dollar bill. Because he backed her up with the helicopter, even though she didn't really need it. Because they are so the future couple. Because he helped her move into The Talon. Because she thanked him for having her back. Because she let him know that if he ever told anyone about the lapdance, she would let everyone know about his Elmer Fud nightlight. Because she supported Jonathan Kent. Because she is already part of the family. Because she baked (or at least attempted), him a birthday cake. Because she let him know that instead of saving for a bike (aka Lana), he might find he was actually saving for a Harley (aka Lois.) Because he let her know there were times he felt she didn't know him at all, but then when he felt like she knew him better than anyone else. Because she let him know that's what she was there for. Because of the way they look at each other. | I was Chlark in the first seasons (you're right, anything is better than Clana), but it was kind of depressing you know?
