  I'm glad they brought Lana back in s8...they took her down a dark path in s8 so it was nice for them to bring her character back to her roots. Plus we got some amazing Clana moments. __________________

I'm just watching this series at the moment and Clark and Lana are definitely my favourite.
 What I don't understand though is why they couldn't be together at the end. Sure, she absorbed all that kryptonite, but wouldn't wearing blue kryptonite kind of solve that issue? __________________

 I'm glad they parted with love though...at least we got that. That ast scene made it clear that neither of them would ever love anyone the way they loved each other. Clark fought Kryptonite to kiss her--what's more heartbreaking than that? He would always try to be around no matter the risk to him and Lana couldn't put either of them through that. Nothing else could compare to that for me.__________________

^ It was pretty much the same for me. Always loved Clana, one of the only things I enjoyed about Smallville after a certain point.
