So the boys finally made it to

I was really looking forward to Jo's return to VL and I wasn't disappointed. It's really nice to see Olli with an equal partner now (Tom, his former boyfriend, was a pretty dominant character). He seems really mature now. Well, sometimes the authors repeat parts of the storylines they already did ten years ago but I guess, that's okay for a soap opera

I wasn't sure how Thore would manage but he's doing absolutely fine. I really enjoy this couple and I hope the writer's won't break them up anytime soon.

Anyway, it's really nice to see that they gained some international YT popularity. See,Germany is more than just beer, pretzel and chubby guys dancing in leather pants

But, the relationship is still to new... and not everyone knows, so I think we'll atleast have a few happy months before the angst. I do think Wolle is going to attack Ollie and that will force Christian to come out to the Boxing commission.

I agree that Thore is hotter than Kay (the ex) If I remember correctly they had a fair amount of kisses and making outs but yes, Ollian is much more steamy

Well, I don't want to spoil you since I always read the previews for the next four weeks so I won't comment on that. As for breaking them up... you never know. The writers of another German soap opera recently effed up the storyline of their gay couple which was really annoying since they were together for a very short time. I don't think it will happen to Olli and Christian because I recently watched an interview with the boys and they said the writers would take the audience's reaction into account. Since their story is received very well atm, it's unlikely that they're going screw it up. Hopefully it will stay this way.

Glad to hear that. I saw an interview on YT of them on some tech-talk show and they said something like that. Which is refreshing because right now... I can't picture them not together.

I think it's much more interesting with them not only because Thore is hotter than Kay but because Olli and Christian are equal partners. Tom was very dominant in the realtionship - the successful doctor and the poor student who had to buzz tables to get by. Olli is much more mature now and more experienced than Christian but he leads him very gently. The two of them became lovers and partners who care for each other instead of themselves. You see, I wasn't sure if I would like this pairing because it was so typical soap writers to take a straight character and turn him gay. Of course I'm aware of the fact that there are still a lot of closet cases out there and Christian's coming out could have happened in real life but soap operas love to do it this way. Anyway, I liked how this relationship developed and Thore did a good job. He made the change of his character believable.

I read a comment on YT that somebody thought he was a closet case. Well, I know that there are gay bashings commited by closeted homosexuals but I really don't think Wolle is one of them. IMO he's just a pathetic wannabe who dreams about having sex with hot women but all he gets is a close friendship with his right hand.

I didn't mean he was straight. They turned him into a bisexual during his first appearance on VL because they needed a new love interest for Tom. You see the pattern? Writers really rule the world of soap opera.

Anyway, they now used his bisexuality to drive a wegde between Coco and Christian since they had to write her out of the storyline. So she had to emigrate to Goa without Christian because the actress propably wanted to leave the show and - lucky us - they needed Christian to stay and fall in love with Olli.

That's understandable. I mean they are obviously close to each other now (I vaguely remember that they used to have a difficult relationship at first because Christian blamed Gregor for their father's death or at least not taking care of him... something like that) - who wouldn't be disappointed if your own brother obviously don't trust you because he's afraid you might react like a total jerk. I understand Christian's dilemma though although I think they played the I-don't-want-to-tell-him-he's-in-a-strange-mood card a bit too long.
