| Buffy&Angel #26: Because they just don't work without each other. Welcome to the 25th thread dedicated to one of the greatest couples of all time. ...Buffy Summers, Vampire Slayer, and Angel, the vampire....  ♥Two souls who were born to hate each other, but destined to love♥  "Gosh. Buffy&Angel. Where do I start? I freaking LOVE them.. really more than I can express into words. They were my very first ship from the tender age of twelve so they've pretty much been a part of me for the past decade. I grew up with Buffy&Angel showing me, not only how unconditional love can be, but that there is such a thing as a "soulmate", the person who will love you like no other and will always be there for you no matter what. In my eyes, their love story is just about the most powerful story ever told. I've never seen anything like it and I highly doubt I will find anything that comes close. Their story isn't just tragic and epic but it's.... out of this world. How many people can say that their love almost caused the world to end? Their love has NO bounds.. it can move mountains....and even though they were born to hate each other.. vampire slayer.. vampire.. they were destined to love one another. They are soulmates always and forever and NO ONE can ever convince me that these two aren't the greatest couple of all time. For me the Buffy&Angel story is the defenition of love. No matter what happend in the end it came always down to them. Their love was forbidden and they tried to stay away but their feelings were stronger. Buffy had to kill him but he came back and they still loved each other. Buffy wanted to save his life by risking her own life. Angel wanted Buffy to have a better life and broke up with her but they still loved each other. Angel gave up his humanity to save Buffy's life. Angel came back to Buffy when she needed him the most. The first thing they did when she came back from death was meet each other. Even though they were with other people their love for each other was always present.
