But even through their toughest times, everything still remained about each other. Chuck was Blair’s way of escaping this fairytale life she’s been holding on to even if she was desperate to have it. I was so shocked that it made me so engrossed and intrigued by them that I became a bigger fan than my friend who forced me to watch it. Chuck and Blair have immensely love for each other and intense scenes together, you never want to take your eyes of them and you want to know about their story together because it's just so mesmerizing. Their love for each other is real and true and thats all that matters. Right now they're embarking on this romantically epic love story, which I will follow through the end, so jumping ship is OUT of the question.They are the life and essence of the show. ~ cryzzel (Cher) "I ship CB because of their very first scenes together. She clings to a world that’s not hers. The more she tries to be someone she’s not and hide her fire behind the image of the perfect virgin queen, she dies a little more inside. But he is lurking in the shadows, he sees her, the real her; the broken girl enslaved by her insecurities, hurt by those who are supposed to care about her, unaware of her power. And he loves it all; the good and the bad, the ice and the fire. He recognizes his true soul mate and tries to bring her back to life. And she lets him. She lets him have this “weird influence” over her. They're simply electrifying together, it's something rare going on between Ed and Leighton in their scenes that draws you in every single time. Their chemistry is off-the-charts, it's above anything I've ever seen. Even when Chuck and Blair weren't romantically involved, those friendship scenes in the beginning had an extra something which hinted at the possibility of something more. They're two characters who are clearly destined for one another, who hurt each other endlessly to deny their growing love. They have every aspect of the type of couple you'd wanna ship: love, friendship, chemistry, angst and raw, intense passion. To quote Chuck, they're "inevitable". They have the "true love." Chair Forever! ~ 4brathan&brucas (Gwen) Why do I love Chuck and Blair? For one thing they are the definition of intensity. Everyone else in the world sees their masks but when they're together they have this undeniably raw and earnest energy. They're not like other people but they're the only two people who can make each other happy. What Blair needs is to feel desired and ever since the dance at Victrola, no one as desired her as much as Chuck. She also needs to give up on her control and Chuck is her chaos. Chuck needs to feel loved and Blair was always the one who believed in him, she made him finally connect with some.
