I like the Highlander series. In particular, the last few although I never read them in order. On KMM fae series the first book I didn't like of the series. It just didn't appeal to me. But since I bought the second one the same time as the first. I figure I should read the second so I don't feel like I wasted my money. The second one made me like it. It got more interesting and better in the second one. I haven't read the third yet I'm waiting for paper back of it because it's a nice series but it's not one of my favorites.

I have a question to anyone that has read the new BDB book. Are you telling me there is no main romance in this book? It's going feel weird to me if there isn't. I know if there is one it will be downplayed because like someone mentioned I think Ward has gotten tired of writing romance but the thing is that's why most people like her books is for the romance. If she doesn't want to do that anymore she should just write a new series.

I mean don't get me wrong I like some of the things she has done with this series the good stuff out ways the bad for me so far but I will disappointed if she cut off romance. That's probably my favorite part of the books and the Vishous/Jane, Phury/Cormia romances were a little disappointing to me.

I finish Phury's book, I like Lassiter so far, I can't wait to learn more about him. It was nice to see Thor again. I'm still not liking the Xhex/John thing. The romance story could have been better. It was disappointing and there was a lot of John in this. He almost had the same amount as Phury it felt like. I like that Lash is the son of the Omega that was interesting. I like Rhev but I hate that princess. Someone mention that the Princess and Lash gets it on. That's fine by me. There both disgusting anyway.

Denise, there actually is a main romance. Rhev hooks up with a vampire nurse... I think it's actually better than LE, at least it's more developed. But yeah, if you skip the gross parts it's a quick read.

Thanks for letting me know. I also heard there is some Wrath/Beth in this one. If that is true I'm very happy.

Have you guys read those "slices of life" on JR's website? There's a Beth and Wrath one here that is a MUST READ

I caved and bought the first Fever novel today. I'll start it before bed and see how that goes...

I know why you didn't like the first one, it's because it was just like the beginning, nothing THAT interesting happened there, I threat it like the first chapters of a whole story, not like a separate book. Second on is much better! and Barron's love

I think Ward must have read some complains

cause the whole romance is better developed this time, not the best she could do but sure better than V's and Phury's. But I think it was W/B that saved this book, without them I would have to skip like 3/4 of it

I'm glad I read the second one because I actually enjoyed the story then. Book 1 was boring to me because there wasn't a lot going on except at the end of it.

Why do you think W/B save the book? I don't want know too much. I plan to read it soon. But in general why do you think they did?

I'm glad to know that the romance story improve a little in this book. I was really disappointed in Vishous and Phury's ones.

More J/X does not make me happy. I hope Ward listens to the fans sometimes because I'm sure am not the only one that doesn't want them together.

because Wrath story was far more interesting than Rhev's

and W/B were just way to cute, it was good to see them again. This is one thing I truly don't like in BDB that once she's done with the couple she's done and hardly even show them together again and it was nice to see she changed that

Yeah plus the colors hurt my eyes, the only good thing about it that sometimes Ward posts exclusive info, like that one about Z and Nalla, and how she found out he used to be a slave.
