Couples - Billy and Alison (Melrose Place)

Hope this isn't a duplicate thread but I've recently gotten into MP and these two are the bright spot for me. I adore Billy, and this coupling. Their non-wedding is right up there with the Brandon/Kelly non-wedding on 90210.

OMG, this is so cute. Yeah, before MP went crazy, I was into them too. Probably because Allison was so resistant to give into her feelings at first and Billy was just too much of a 'big fluffy dog' type to let it bother him.

I think I am officially in love with another joint Darren Star/Aaron Spelling production. Of course, MP could never touch 90210, in my book but I love it nonetheless. I remember watching the last two seasons in 1997-1998 and 1998-1999 and hating it so maybe I only really like the earlier seasons.

I've read a lot of fan opinions about their least fave MP characters and many state that Billy is one of the people on the bottom of their list. I say, "What?! He's practically at the top of my list!!"

I've been jotting down Billy quotes, when he goes and privately meets with the men who try to steal his beloved Alison from him. I do so love him and I love the two of them, as a couple.

Dr. Miller: I'm not at liberty to discuss Alison's case with you but I apologize if you've misunderstood her treatment.

Billy: Treatment? So, what do you do with your tough cases, what do you take them to Club Med?

Dr. Miller: If you'll calm down, I'll be happy to discuss my prodedures with you.

Billy: I'm not going to discuss the time of day with you, Miller. Alison is the most important person in my life, alright? We've been through hell and back together. You have no idea how much I love her, no idea. Personally, I think you're full of crap. She thinks you have some kind of magic cure and I'm not going to take that away from her. But, I swear, if you do anything to hurt her...

From Season 2 eppi "Psycho Therapy." It's only a portion of the exchange, and I could have typed the whole dang thing out but, hey, I thought it was the part that was most salient to the whole "Billy/Alison connection."

I'm in the mood to fight on behalf of overlooked couples, who don't get the love and attention they deserve!

I stopped watching MP after a few seasons, but Alison and Billy were definatly my favorite couple on the show. I loved the attraction they had for each other as roomies and then them finally getting together.

i really like allison and billy together a shame alot of tough things always got pulled their way.
