I have faith. And I think it does have meaning having her wearing his engagement ring Why else would she be wearing it if she's not planning on saying yes? When did they break up? Or are you talking about the books? I haven't read them yet.

Oh sorry, I didn't know you haven't read the books.

Yes, they broke up in the 3rd book. And book 4 starts with Eric losing his memory and identity because of witchcraft and he finds a new "home" in Sookie's house. As an Eric/Sookie fan you would like the SL. But Alan Ball said in an interview that the script is different from the books. I'm not sure he did read all books. But an engagement between Sookie and Bill is only in the series.

I should also mention that I'm kind of a multishipper cause I also like Sookie with Eric. I hope that its ok. There are few shows that I watch where I multiship and True Blood is one of them.
ahaha I multiship on this show as well its hard not too.

my one OTP is Sam/Sookie but Eric/Sookie and Bill/Sookie are great too!

Mona, I dont thing we have anything to worry about. Im reading the books now and I can tell that Alana Ball wants Bill/Sookie much more than the author does and I heard that in the newer books even though Sookie is with Eric she still has feelings for Bill.

Thanks for info. I'm just reading book 5. But of course there are everywhere signs and hints that she still loves Bill. He was the first she fell in love with. He was her first lover. You can't forget that.

I agree. They are different, but that doesn't matter. I can only recommend to read them. Since it's written from Sookie's POV it's also interesting to learn more about her. And we shouldn't forget that the series is based on the books.

I have like 8 pages left in the 4th book. Still don't get why people like Eric/Sookie.

I don't know that either. It's funny, but I like him in the books more than in the series. But not together with Sookie.

I think its because Eric has always been this badass stoic vampire who doesn't have feelings for others but then he met Sookie and all of that changed.

That reminds me of the scene when Sookie got badly hurt by the maenad. Bill was so worried about her and you really could see that he felt with her. But Eric was only watching her without any facial expression and seemed totally uninterested. He even apologized to Dr. Ludwig, that Bill was so attached to the human. I still believe the main reason why he wants Sookie is because Bill has her. They are kind of rivals.
