I love the caps. I won't watch until Bill and Sookie are rebuilt, and it's my right do so. This thing with Eric and Sookie being the main relationship, because Eric is being raved about like crazy. I've been there, done that and I won't be bothered with it.

It is horrible how most Bill/Sookie shippers got ousted out of the fandom. People misportray this relationship as the worst thing ever yet they hypocritically condone everything Eric has done and ignore Bill's circumstances for doing what he had to do. It is an awful double-standard. Both in the books and show, Bill/Sookie was thrown under the bus for fan pandering to Eric/Sookie. Even when Bill/Sookie were stable, people wrongly hated them and started favoring Eric because he was the bad boy who needs to be redeemed.

They can't handle a vampire who is good at his core like Bill who is forced to make mistakes and then had to be slammed with really harsh writing to make way obviously for Eric coming into the picture. I expected this with Eric/Sookie being more popular but it always shocks me at just how much Bill/Sookie are wrongly bashed everywhere while most of the fandom just sugarcoats everything about the Eric/Sookie relationship. It is hip to trash Sookie in the fandom but nobody can dare criticize Eric for anything!

Can somebody please direct me to any sites that actually support Bill/Sookie and actually acknowledge all of Eric's flaws, manipulation, abuse, and bad qualities? I hate how the media develops a bias. I keep searching for this on the internet and just run into biased commentary from Eric/Sookie shippers who really did swallow up our fandom. Bill is not darker than Eric and he genuinely grew to love Sookie....and he did not rape her. Please, only Bill and Sookie shippers should post here! Then no matter what Eric does...he is painted as better for Sookie, badass, and a hero who has justification for all of the horrible stuff he has done.

It is also cliched as hell for people to villify Bill for showing a darker side when he tries to be noble most of the time and people pounce on everything but Eric who was established as bad who has also abused her friends & family, showed a lack of character, as well as do things to Sookie against her will like trick her to drink his blood....and they behaved inappropriately when she was still with Bill. Did people forget that Sookie hooked up with Sam too when she was dating Bill? Yet Bill gets trashed as this unforgivable bastard when we know he did fall for Sookie for real and followed through on his pact with the King to protect her from Lorena. Do people forget how many times Eric has been mean to Sookie and has USED her?!

The problem is I might tolerate Eric/Sookie if Eric was legitimately a better guy and treated Sookie better....but that is not true at all so their bashing against Bill/Sookie as misogynistic, abusive, and blah blah is so HYPOCRITICAL when you compare it to Eric's behavior. The fandom treats Eric/Sookie as so perfect. I don't ship Alcide/Sookie but he has not been as bad as Eric. Even some of Alcide's actions/associations have hurt Sookie, used her, and threatened the people she loved. NONE of the guys have been perfect but Bill gets trashed the worst. You can make that pseudo-feminist argument against all of them, even Sam. They ignore that Eric's behavior has been the worst of all. They acknowledge why Eric did things but they don't acknowledge it with Bill.

I am shocked. Two years ago, I could read sane commentary...now it is just biased commentary where it seems like Eric/Sookie dominates all TB discussion and Bill/Sookie still get trashed to death even though they are over. I seriously need to read some good input now from Bill/Sookie shippers or at least from people who actually view Eric & Sookie realistically. Even if I wasn't a Bill fan, I would dislike Eric/Sookie because it is one of the most unhealthy, manipulative, and contrived dynamics I have ever seen on TV and it has to occur at the expense of other characters. Not to mention, Bill has showed remorse and tried to right his wrongs whereas Eric has done none of that. They had to resort to Eric losing his memory for them to have any real emotional sensitive moments otherwise it is just tawdry lust. Last year, it was liking watching soft-core porn constantly! Ugh!

REMEMBER this thread is supposed to be a safe thread for Bill/Sookie shippers. I better not have to deal with Eric/Sookie shippers here.

I hate double-posting but I waited for somebody else to post...it has been a few days.

What did you guys think of the episode?

We had Alcide and Sookie hooking up. She threw up on his shoes. Bill was involved with Sookie's storyline but there was no direct interaction. He obviously still cares about her and I am not seeing that from Eric at all. Bill is suspicious of Nora. Of course, some fans are hating on Bill again after what he said about their precious Eric even though it was true. We got plenty of stuff with Pam, Tara, and Jessica. I don't really care for Terry's storyline.

I saw a couple of stuff posted on tumblr about this season and all I can say is, I'm glad I stopped watching. I mean, what have they done to Bill? Come on!! NOT COOL! I'm treasure s1 for what it was and the beautiful love story that blossomed between Bill and Sookie.. and it hurts, reading about what it has become.
