| Big & Carrie [SATC] Lovin' Thread: two drifters after the same rainbow's end Oh. My. God. I cannot believe there isn't a Big and Carrie thread @ the couples board! That's just...WRONG! I know there are many others that just LOVE LOVE LOVE this couple as much as I do. It's so sad that the show has ended but I still obsess about my B&C via my DVDs. I made a Big and Carrie music video since a friend of mine has been begging me for months. Download HERE. I combined 3 songs because I simply couldn't decide on ONE. | I actually don't we have any SATC threads around at all at the moment. | Thanks Layla! I wasn't sure if I started the thread out right since I'm not an expert on these things. The show has had three great couples in Big/Carrie, Steve/Miranda, and Char/Harry. But Big and Carrie take the cake! __________________ | |||

| How long have you been watching SATC? I believe its only been 2 years. I caught seasons 1, 2, and 3 on DVD and then had to wait for 4, and 5. Then I broke down and ordered HBO for the final 6 episodes. How long have you been a Big and Carrie fan? I always liked them together, but it all came together when I watched the episode where Big has heart surgery. Then I went out and bought all of the seasons on DVD and just enjoyed every single moment of their time together. What is your favorite moment? Hmmm ... I love when they dance to Moon River, when Big shows up on her birthday with the balloons and when he FINALLY professes his love to Carrie in the second to last episode of the series. Big vs. Aidan. Pick one. I preferred Aidan the second time around, but he never compared to Big. Are you happy we found out his real name? You know, I would've been content never knowing because I never gave it any thought, really. However, they picked a fitting name. I love, love, love this picture of them! | |||

He was meant to be perfect without flaws. WTF ever. Zzz. Are you happy we found out his real name? Yes. Because as adament I was about not wanting to find out his name prior, I would have obsessed about the fact that his name was never revealed. Plus, the way they revealed his name is ingenious. It did not take away the aura of Mr. Big. They didn't ruin it by having her verbally acknowledge his real name so the myth of Big lingers, yet he becomes more human at the same time. __________________ | |||

| I have been watching since the beginning. I was an on/off Big & Carrie fan. I liked them in the beginning. I was glad she called it off with him when she found out they didn't want the same things. I was unhappy when she cheated on Aidan with Big. I loved how Big and Carrie stayed friends. And I loved the ending how Big realized that Carrie was the one. At the end of it all, despite the good and bad of their relationship, I loved the finale. My favorite moment would have to be the finale when Big told Carrie she was the one. I also loved the part when Big got mad when Carrie told him the Russian slapped her. Oh yeah, and I also loved the part from S5 when Big read Carrie's book and realized how badly he had hurt her. I love both Big and Aidan. I'm glad Big finally realized he loved Carrie. I really liked Aidan. He was very good to Carrie. Since I have to pick it is going to be Big. Aidan is still up there though. What puts him off is how things ended between the two. It really dims his perfect picture how he couldn't forgive her and how he forced her into buying her apartment. I am so glad we finally found out Big's name. I think the show ended perfectly. Letting us know his name lets the audience know that he finally really let Carrie into his life. I couldn't be happier with the ending. | As much as I miss the show, I'm glad they ended it the way they ended it. I'm glad simply knowing that Big and Carrie got together. They didn't have to get married because honestly, both of them are not the marrying kind.
