Yeah, after yesterday's episode I don't see us seeing any of the real slow burn or them falling in love where there are only four episodes left now. It's been very disappointing but I already said how will they fall for each other with it only being seven episodes. So I'm not suprised as well.

Honestly I can see them falling in love in the remaining episodes, since they're supposed to spend a lot of time together. And I'd like to have a well done ending (= the book one) in seven episodes - simple, but well written - rather than being left with a 'they surely would have fallen in love in season 2' feeling. I'll read the book no matter what, but in tv shows I hate that feeling.

I also read a post on tumblr by a girl saying that they could fit the whole book in the remaining episodes (she read it) and explained her idea of this. Obviously cutting it, but it might work. I think it consists in five parts + an epilogue and the pilot alone was basically part 1.
MAYBE they could have included a plot for a possible second season, but this depends on whether they thought, back then, at the chance of a renewal.

The 'you have me' moment is a dream of mine, one of many...fortunately there's Tumblr for that oh but I'm perfectly fine with a 'you are not alone' too

I agree I'm very interested in seeing Rosaline side of all this.

If something does happen I hope it feels organic.. but I've also seen pics of scenes that have been cut from last episode which makes me a little skeptical. All narrative seems to be focusing on Rosaline making Escalus jealous rather than giving the scenes with Rosaline/Benvolio any real weight. They seem so short and abrupt and interrupted by Escalus. Even their betrothal scene was clouded with Escalus and Stella.

Do we know if it's going to have another season or is it just a one season thing?

Is the book called Still Star-Crossed? If it's more of a miniseries type thing, I can see them fitting all of it in these 7 episodes, but I haven't read the book lol.

We don't know if it has been renewed yet but I am skeptical that would happen. It was probably intended as an actual series, though.

Too bad that the book in paperback is impossible to find, unless you want to spend more than 70 dollars (on Amazon IT is like 124 euros, it's HUGE). I wonder with the show being a hit, if they would reprint it and selling with a "normal" YA book price.

I just saw in another thread that the next episode airs July 8th So I'm like, what we don't get an episode this Monday (after we just went through a two week hiatus) now we have to wait two weeks again? Plus the show is still moving slow? I didn't mind the show moving to Saturday (even though I know that and Friday are considered the death time slots) but I thought we would get this episode Monday then the next would be Saturday. This is bs

I don't understand how this doesn't have more viewers but if it keeps skipping and now moving to another night, it is not going to gain anymore. Ugh, two weeks! Too long. I need more!
