Me neither. Although Harry/Hermione never were a couple they certainly made them look like one several times

Well, they have all the elements of a great relationship. They just needed that extra push from JKR. Even thought they didn't end up together, their friendship was definitely something special.

I really can´t imagine any other actors than Dan/Emma as Harry/Hermione, thanks to them we got to see a friendship that has it all really. What irritates me is that people would call it too "cliché" if they got together in the end but IMO Ron/Hermione is also cliché then. A couple that are each others opposites and bickers so much yet STILL manages to fall in love and end up together. I would say all love stories now a days are cliché

Not only is it cliché, it's also a poorly done one, since RHr flirts with sexism and it's offensive to the great character that was Hermione...

Yeah, I think a lot of relationships in fiction are cliché in some way some of them just appeal to us more than others. I think Harry and Hermione had this special bond that no one could touch. They understood, admired, and supported each other. Always finishing each other's sentences, and knowing what the other's thinking. It was something that transcended normal boy/girl friendships. I just think they were too young to realize what they truly. I could definitely see them getting together a few years after the war. I always saw Ron and Hermione's feelings for each other as something they would eventually outgrow.

I just never even saw how Hermione could ever feel something for Ron, basically...
And yes, some clichés are so well done they're worth more than a thousand innovative bad relationships.
