Well, for those who can't get The road to Avalon, maybe you might try to deal with people living in countries where the shipping is available no ?

There always ways. In france we are a bit much lucky since it's possible to order it in some libraries, unlike Firelord which is like impossible to find but in used state.

And no need to be sorry, that was a simple comment xD I can understand after all, we don't have this much to talk about when it comes to them lately...and still it's a miracle this thread is always so alive so let's hope that it will continue and, like Swamy once wished, we'll be able to drown this subforum in Arthur/Morgana thread :')

Cause we don't only have the show. We have the legend with us ! :'D

And don't worry Swamy, i'll make sure to note all the wonderful quotes. The one I said earlier was even better cause she told him that when she was letting him see the pairing Lancelot made, which betrayed his relationship with Guinevere :'D

But well Gwen and Arthur being not a love story, who cares ?

BTW, I saw often people trying to "downgrade" Morgana/Arthur by using the whole "But in most versions, Morgause is Mordred's mother and not Morgana."
Maybe we should learn people that when Morgause is Mordred's mother she does have impressive traits of Morgana and vice versa ?
And for the "Morgana is Arthur's enemy kyaaaaaaaaah" yeah no. If people want to argue with the legend they'd better argue well. before anything else she is the one who is taking care of Arthur's well being in Avalon, before the whole bad girl thing.

Oh and another thing (yeah i'm bored today XDDD), I know there are version where Arthur falls in love with Morgana when he comes to Avalon. But I can't remember which one those are. I think one of those is when Morgana is names Argante but I can't be sure...if someone knows...

(And I heard about a version where it's a one sided love (Arthur>>>>>Morgana). This one too, I can't put my fonger on it :'((()

And soon the next epiusode. I would love to be all excited like I was for episode 3 but while in the summary it seemed Morgana was going to be important, in the preview, we saw more Gwen than anything. So yeah, not cool.

Our girl didn't have much to do since episode 3. One episode in a whole season. Greaaaaaaaat.

I can't stand how everyone assumes Arthur is on love with G in the legend just because they marry. I mean... he's a King, his resons to marry are not about love at all! And they just make it worse talking about Morgana being bad ecc.

I heard about a version with Morgana named Argante but I never actually read anything, if I remember correcly it's Layamon's version of the legend ("Brut", c.1200)

The only version with a one sided love that' I've read is The Mists of Avalon, and even in that one Morgana still loved him in a way that couldn't be totally defined as the one of a sister

We ALWAYS see gwen more than anything. I guess writers are scared tha tif they don't point out the fact that Gwen in their mind is the big tuw luv of Arthur 's life (poor boy) we could forget it

Well, I'm not an expert in Athurian legends yet, but I believe, Athur and Gwen's wedlock was only of convenience at first. Then there was some kind of affection, but what Great Love they talking about when Gwen bertrayed her husband with Lancelot so easy? Oh, I just can't understand this, and in the result we have Queen Gwen's image as cortouse Fair Lady in early literature?
That's just strange. Very strange. That her affair with Lancelot and bertraying her husband (who wasn't tyrant or anything bad) was idealised as true love story. ((

And, actually, in last thread you were choosing songs that remind of ArMor. So, I want to add few on mine too.)
It's new MUSE song "Undisclosed Desires" and somehow when I hear the lyrics I always think of Arthur and Morgana (well, mostly about their angsty future...)

Yup, pure pure Gwen. It doesn't matter if she kissed 3 boys in 17 episodes, or that she betrayed her husband in the legend. She's puuuuuuuuuuure like a virgin of course. And Morgana is the bad one.

02*7 episode is pretty good.
But again no ArMor interaction, though we had beautiful scared Morgana. Arthur was so-so, but the best there were Gaius, Witchfinder and Merlin

Again, Gwen popped up and made Arthur to do things, remembering about her farther's case. =_= I don't know, I liked her in other episodes but after all this Arthur-Gwen-Lancelot stuff she just pissing me off. (((
