N/S... ugh, don't remind me, GG has been a big disappointment

I only kept watching because of C/B... and I really don't like Jenny and Dan.... They're so boring

Vanessa is beginning to annoy me too... The only good book change made was C/B, the rest sucks... They ruined Erik, Aaron, Vanessa

and made the Humphreys central characters, which they're not... Ugh, I better shut up, cause I could stay the whole day here complaining

Oh, we better have at least a few kisses, since the atraction between them is too obvious

Gwen could die for all I care

The only thing different to me is that I don't hate her... I really hated her (and Lancelot) in The Mists of Avalon..

I really hate the Humphreys (minus Rufus), especially Dan since the books, and in the series he's even worse, and DS to me is one of the worst couples in TV (Except now AG

Gwen from mists of avalon was a total bitch

but even Arthur was kind of annoying in there

they are so different from Merlin..

Yeah, Gwen was an annoying bitch in the book too. I wanted to slap her senseless.

But you guys are right, they're very different from the books... everyone else except Morgana was a bit annoying at some point (none more so than Gwen).

In the series, despite their petty attitudes, I flove the characters. EXCEPT Gwen. I don't exactly hate her... more like greatly disappointed. Slightly the same with Lance although I quite like the actor who plays him.

I was re-watching the series last night and I just can't help but squee non-stop during that scene set during the night before Arthur has to fight that wraith.

Arthur: You're worried about me...
Morgana: I don't know what it is...

Oh Morgana, darling... it's called love.

TBH though, I'm still scared out of my wits that they'll follow through with a "half-sibling" storyline and they'd pull a Luke/Leia on us.

Still a bit scared considering Bradley just stated in his interview that he thinks that Arthur thinks of Morgana as a little sister.

I don't think she is COMPLETELY innocent. She's a bit flighty, I think considering she's always so obviously attracted to almost all the men in the series. First, Merlin. And when he was supposedly crushing on Merlin, she's having the hots for Lancelot when she was being all dramatic about his flight... and then now it's Arthur! I mean, seriously... she's all "Oh no no... I don't have the hots for these men..." but she went and kissed Merlin, groped Lancelot and bat her lashes at Arthur. Innocent my arse.

And then we are suppose to believe that all this fine young men would drop EVERYTHING for her... this supposedly "kind and good-hearted woman, born-a-slave-deserving-to-be-queen, I'm-Cinderella." It's just utter rubbish. Ugh.

No doubt about it! So... if they're trying to pass of Gwen as the Goody-Two-Shoes... EPIC FAIL. If they're trying to pass off Gwen as the female fatale... EPIC FAIL! Disappointing contrived character. And the actress doesn't really put anything special to her character either. Sorry, Ms. Coulby.

Especially Morgana. I feared for her during the finale. She went from being a seductive bantering female powering heroine to a raving scheming evil plotter. Do. Not. Want.

Morgana doesn't go evil until after Guinevere pushed her into it. Her powers had nothing to do with it, IMO. It was all Gwen's doing... in the original texts anyway.
