| Arthur ♥ Morgana #1: "My Lady" he said, "God, I love you" was all he could think  [banner by iris karsiki] welcome to the first Arthur & Morgana appreciation thread I know the world is full of slashers now but still I can't find a way to not be moved by Arthur and Morgana. Their obvious atraction and the feelings they try to hide from each other and to themselfs. From the dvd special: I’ve reinstated ‘My lady. My champion’ because I love the way that’s starting. She barely saw the man on the outside all this time this is something that could come from Morgana, that fought with him and worried about him and that found in him an help when she needed it!I can't tell you how much I enjoy their scenes together, I watch the show only for them when they argue about anything I can feel the eletricity, and when they are apart (when he sees Valiant kissing her hand, or when she watch her walking at the feast during the first episode, when she sees him with Sophia, or when he's worried about her being ill) I can feel the longing and I love that. I do hope all the shippy things we had during s1 will lead to something. | Yeah at this point I can't understand how Arthur ends up marrying Gwen. Even the writers have said he's in love with Morgana. I would hate for them to tell the story like Gwen is the love of Arthur's life, keeping out the Lancelot part, mostly because I need to be free to dislike Gwen like I always did and I couldn't if she's with Arthur and makes him happy (at that point I would be the unhappy one and stop watching this show for good which I think it would be a good thing for me..), and because I really like what Morgana and Arthur share. In this version they are not related, still it's like they run in each other's veins. Arthur will never have something so powerful with Gewn and I refuse to watch a show that talk about the great love of King Arthur and Queen Gwen  Morgana has a great influence on him, I could not believe this influence fades with time or because of Gwen. Like when Morgana tried to save the druid boy, he found her with the boy and she asked him to save him.. Arthur actually turned around to check if there was a possibility but there were witnesess and he couldn't help, and even later, with Uther angry and adamant about the execution Arthur gave in when she sayd "Then do it for me". When he is worried for Merlin's life she's the one to push him to take the decision to do something ("You think I should go", she tells him to do what he think is right - it was right even before she tld him and he did know that - ad next thing we see it's him riding away) They bicker a lot ("So you'll make me look like a fool" - "I know from experience you don't need my help to look like a fool" "I can't imagine anyone loving me so much" - "me neither" ) but they respect each other, they shared part of their childood ("brings back the memories of when I used to beat you?" - "That never happened!" ) they are clearly attracted to each other - when she helps him with his armor in the episode Valiant there was so much sexual tension that was almost embarassing to watch - and as we now know, at ep 2 he loves her already, so I'm hoping they don't just pretend all this time they loved each other didn't exsist and jump for the A/G ship because I might just kill someone! __________________ Jensen.I can't kiss you away from my mind VOTE4MISHA_Darkest Hour Ross Pendragon ♥ Le Fay Right now there's a war between the vanities But all i see is you and me. | |||

| Yeah anyway I don't think in any version of the legend Arthur and Gwen were ever in love. They were married, they liked each other, but a couple in love does NOT cheat on each other!
