Archie and Veronica #1: Because she's his first choice
Welcome to the Archie & Veronica Appreciation Thread  ~Shippers~ provocative ride the lightning Buttermilk_Moon Ruby_Slippers rachem_chul Caliina bickering love Rainstorm Jenny MiniAnneBoleynx8  Reading some of my old comics and I remembered how much I love these two! I know it should be common nature to indulge in betty/archie shipping but those two were far too sappy and bland for me. I much prefer the messed up-edness of these two! Any other fans?! __________________

I like Archie/Veronica too! :p I used to be all about Archie/Betty, until I decided that she would be much better off with Jughead. So Veronica/Arch all the way!

I have to admit, one reason I like A/V is becaue I don't really like Archie and I think he deserves to be Veronica's slave for life. :p But hey, I still want them together. :p

I think A/B is kind of supposed to be the "perfect" couple. I mean, Betty's portrayed as the girl Archie tends to be happier with - you know, she'll play sports, won't whine about a broken nail, doesn't shop like crazy and use up his money... It's... too perfect? I don't know, I kind of like how he goes for Veronica anyway. Their relationship has more of a spark to it.

Veronica is definitely my favourite character
 I know we're supposed to relate to Betty more but Veronica is hilarious. She may be a total biatch, but nevertheless she was awesome __________________

Veronica was a rich snob, and she was awesome for it. It wasn't like she was completely horrible, like Cheryl.

eugh, I hated Cheryl. I think there are plenty of stories which reveal that Veronica is capable of being nice, generous, etc. And I know Betty is supposed to be the 'writer' of the group but I swear Veronica has a better (+ far more vast) vocabulary that any of the other characters
