Couples - Ally and Billy/Ally McBeal

Because he had all of her heart, forever and ever. I adore the deep connection and love that was with Ally and Billy, even though they had not been romantically together in forever. My all-time favorite eppi of the show is where these two share that incredible, romantic and passionate kiss. I really wish ALly McBeal would not be released in a more broad, not so limited way, here in the States. I've never seen Ally/Larry eppis and need to see those as well. I also love the friendship and one-side, unrequited love that existed between Ally and John Cage. This show totally rocked my socks off and I miss it so much!

Ally Mcbeal is my all time favorite show. I'm a HUGE Ally/Larry fan, but I loved Ally/Billy together, even though I hated him sometimes with his manpigness :-) My favorite scene is actually in the last episode with him as a ghost.

I liked Ally and Larry, was amused by Ally and John, but absolutely ADORED Ally/Billy. My all time fave scene is probably when he shows up in her office and says "Will you ever forgive me that I left you?" And she says: "I forgave you... But I think I'll never understand." AWWWWWW

I loved a lot of their scenes, they were great couple!

Admittedly, I preferred Ally/Larry, but there were some Ally/Billy moments that I really liked. One of my favourites was when he appeared to her just after he died and she said, "I'm glad your hair is back to normal".

As I rewatch Season 3, I have to ask; is Billy a misogynist or a dick?

I did a regular google search actually, then resized it and upped the brightness/contrast. I don't know why "Ally McBeal" was broadcast in so much 'orange-ness', hehe. In the late 90's, it seemed that every show on FOX was broadcast through an orange filter.

Now I know it wasn't just my TV.

That's why I'm so glad for the DVDs. My old tapes with the recorded airings always looked so discoloured.

But didn't they release only 'best of' episodes or, at the very least, just the first 2 seasons? Without any plan to release the rest? Maybe Calista's turn on "Brothers and Sisters" can spark up the DVD-releasing.

You just reminded me that I transfered my tape of the series finale to dvd for posterity. I had totally forgotten about that.

No, they released the entire series on Region 2 a few years ago and since I live in Ireland, I was able to pick them all up in any store. I've had the complete 5 seasons on DVD for about 2 years now. So have you guys not seen the behind the scenes featurette on the finale where Elaine, Fish and Georgia talk about filming the last episode?
