I was watching their "I care about you!" kiss just now, and I couldn't help but envy Ellen Pompeo a little because she got to go into a recording booth and watch that scene as many times as she wanted when she was recording Meredith's voiceover for the scene. If I was her, I'd be screwing up my lines over and over so they would start the scene again.

Same here! Ya know, I didn't know that she watched the scenes as she was doing the voice over. I just thought she read from a script. That is very cool. I want your job Ellen!

Well I'm guessing she watches the scenes, because she'd have to time her lines for the right moments, and for when there is a cut from one scene to another. That's how Zach Braff and Kristen Bell did their voiceovers for their shows.

I'm watching the clip where Izzie strips in the locker room and rips Alex a new one by saying she's free of debt while he's got $200,000 to pay off, and I'm thinking - is this the same character? Because at the moment, that Izzie and the current Izzie are nothing alike.
