Thanks, Diana! It's good to read an opinion from a non-shipper. People like you see it more realistic than haters or lovers of that ship.
It's an interesting word-game ... flicker, sparks, flame ... It's a hint. Shonda loves those games. It's the same when Izzie played scrabble with Denny. And it's all about the symbolism. I just read parts of the book and though it's not from Shonda I was impressed how many symbols are in each of the scenes. __________________

  the title!! I saw the scans and read the spoilers! ITA with you Mona. I think Hannah will be involved some how and so will Alex. I think the reason Shonda didn't mention Alex is because she couldn't, it would've given too much away. Gizzie the #1 most annoying TV couple  We knew that anyway. I don't care what the Gizzie shippers think. Gizzie isn't getting back together and that's why they're attacking Lexzie.  A Mark and Izzie pairing would be highly unlikely and ridiculous after the SF. I'm not worried about that. Man, I'm dying for some promos though. __________________

 I agree. Mark and Izzie is simply ridiculous. They never have had a connection to each other, and I doubt that Izzie is interested in ONS. He slept with almost all nurses. OMG!  I read the article again and again. Shonda didn't say that Izzie gets a new love. She just stated that she will get a lovestory. But she also wrote in the same article that the biggest lovestory for her is between Meredith and Cristina - as friends. So "lovestory" can mean sexual, romantic or platonic. And a mother/daughter (child) relationship is strictly platonic. The Hannah storyline was so rushed because of Gizzie that it would be plausible that Shonda picks it up again and makes a big storyline of it. __________________
