I'm re-watching Season 1, and I'm struggling to recall why I liked this couple. She treats him terribly after Lucas' car crash, then when he proposes, she basically admits that she kept him around all those years because she had nobody else when Dan took off... Then her feelings are RETCONNED in Season 3 when she suddenly decides she's in love with him and don't get me started on Schwahn making Karen pregnant just as he has Dan kill Keith.


This pairing was messy, and did Keith a lot more harm than good. I realized how much more I preferred him with Jules (in Season 2).

Duncan/Jess As The World Turns - I did ship them until 1994 [although I didn't watch them when it aired I watched a lot via clips and youtube and stuff I have in my collection] 94 was such a mess for them and Duncan was such a jerk by then I just couldn't stand what he did to Jess I was son angry at him.

Erica/Callie [Grey's Anatomy] now I still ship them, but it's hard to now because of what happened with them which to me nothing really happened they were over before anything really started. I definitely can't read any fanfiction on them anymore it's just makes me too sad. I'm not sure if this counts in here.

Spike/Buffy He tried to rape her. I don't care that he didn't have a soul or that Buffy was strong enough to fight him off. Spike claimed to love Buffy and then he tried to rape her... THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THAT!!!

Nathan/Haley Nathan deserved better. I just think the show placed Haley on too high of a pedestal.. it always felt like Haley was the saint and Nathan was the sinner and that is not fun to watch.

I agree about Spike/Buffy. I've been rewatching the series and am on S6. She just broke up with him but I hated this abusive relationship back then and even more now. Spike didn't love Buffy, he had a weird obsession with her and it was about a conquest he couldn't have. He stalked her house, broke in there to steal her clothes and panties, had sex with a robot of Buffy, was happy when he could hit her then said things like she came back wrong, is a demon, an animal, beating each other up before, during, and after sex, then he tries to rape her (and now I see why he did that cause he kept pushing sex when Buffy said no until she caved many times. Before he tried to rape her he wouldn't take no for an answer before) What a sick ass relationship and I'll never understand the popularity. It was physically, verbally, and emotionally abusive, then him almost raping her was just the nail in the coffin. I don't ship abusive relationships and Spuffy is one of the worst.

I'm re-watching Season 2 of OTH and it's actually depressing to see how boring Nathan has come now that he's married to her.


Also, I always thought it was stupid in S1 how they did an episode where Haley was sneaking onto his Internet Browsing History and accusing Nathan of still liking Peyton, which he doesn't really deny -- then the next episode, he and Haley are ENGAGED... WHAT?!?


I can understand why people liked Nathan and Haley together at the beginning, because he became a better person with her. But Naley should have been over for good after she left him for the Tour (and even admitted that they "rushed into marriage").
