I hate it when shows do this. They could have done those things with Mash, but they didn't. They're definitely telling us about Mash (not even on the show at this point lol but in interviews) instead of showing us. It's annoying, but it also gives me hope. It seems like the writers really care about M/F. Everything's that's happened for Mash has been somehow related back to Frary. I guess we'll see how it goes in the forest or wherever M/B runaway to, but, at the end of the day, Mary only left bc she loves Francis.

But what I do know. I'm just a lowly viewer.

All we can do now is wait and see. If Mary's characterization and her response to both Francis and Bash don't feel right in the next few episodes, then I suspect we'll be making our decisions on staying or leaving. I'm open to giving the show a little window of time before committing fully or before leaving altogether. Let's see how it goes.

The uncles actually ruled, and eventually caused a lot of strife. They were Francis regents. The real Francis was quite sickly and didn't have a lot of strength. I do think the actor playing Bash looks too old, both Toby & Ade look about 20 , he looks a lot older than them.

They're clearly going to change HOW Francis dies, since he died from complications to an ear infection.
