Same, the only difference is that I was never really a Serena fan but her with Carter made her a lot more likeable to me. Too bad their relationship was so shortlived.

Blake's chemistry with Sebastian was so fiery and fun, and it disappoints me that (probably due to his movie career), the writers didn't make more time for Carter to re-appear on the show.


The only two guys I ever shipped Serena with were Nate and Carter. I feel like Carter, particularly, understood the side of Serena that she needed to embrace - the side that Dan seemed to be ashamed of in a lot of ways.


I still hate how Nate's girlfriend conspires to get rid of Carter Serena begs him to stay, but Carter's ego is hurt over her paying his debt. It's really sad.

The only person I shipped with Serena. I feel like he embraced all of her, while still bringing out the best in her. It's sad how they ended... it still feels so unresolved.

I shipped her with both Carter and Nate, but I definitely ended up slightly preferring her with Carter. She had a unique passion with him. I loved their journeys to Santorini, how he never judged her and always knew the right thing to say in order to comfort her whenever she couldn't discuss her family issues with anyone else.

The way he was written out was unbelievably disrespectful. I thought 3x06 was a bad ending, but season 3 episode 18 was even worse... He was literally treated like an afterthought and it was terrible writing to have Serena talk so casually to him despite their painful break-up earlier in the season.

One of my biggest ship disappointments with Brucas and Ryan/Marissa.

I wonder if Sebastian's break-up with Leighton had anything to do with him appearing less and less in the show?

He definitely went on to have a movie career, and many people will have no idea that he basically got popular in the first place due to this show.

I loved him in 3x01: "Who is he, not to want you?" SO romantic.

Chuck already hated Carter but he hated him even more knowing that Blair had spent the night with him add his step-sister Serena into the equation and it's kinda messy

Hell yes just like episode 4x07 where Nate and Serena side-eye Chuck and Blair as they sign the forms in the restaurant pretending to be civil (then they give up the act and have crazy sex at the end ).

Carter and Chuck were very similar. It annoys me that the show didn't capitalize on that and get them friendly with one another... you could even see Chuck be apologetic in 3x06 to Serena when he realizes that Carter risked getting his ass beaten by staying in town due to how much he loves Serena. Chuck finally saw it.
