Teehee...so good to be in a place where my addiction is supported/encouraged.

I admit I was feeling kind of weird about it until I joined this board... I haven't fangirled so hard over anything since I was a teen.

Me, completely me. I don't even care this much about current shows as much as I do QAF. I'm still trying to figure out what has come over me to have me so sprung. It's just that good!

Mhmmm. There's just something about it, I just get this wonderful feeling when I watch it. It's SO well done. I'm still literally shocked every time I watch it, how wonderful it is. I don't think the word "addictive" even does it justice. The show's got such a warm vibe to it, if you know what I mean?

And ha, I realized that I've only been watching shows from the early 2000's lately. I don't watch cable, and don't even keep up with current shows on Netflix. Oh well.

I've never really been able to get very much into any Netflix specials, sadly, though I've tried. Orange is the new Black is pretty good, and also the Chi. But I'm on Hulu now, and I still cannot leave QAF alone.

I think it's because 2015-2017 I had taken a break watching so much of it, which is probably why in late 2017 (like, October), the obsession came back with a vengeance.

I'm already thinking to myself that I should force myself to take a break...but I just can't. It's just feeling too good, right now. Maybe one day...

I haven't watched much of Netflix's specials, either. I watched OITNB for a couple of seasons, but then I didn't like where it was going. I watched some of "Stranger Things" but wasn't a huge fan, either. "Jessica Jones" was pretty good, though.

I think this show is truly one of a kind. Look what it's done to all of us!

That sounds like a lovely trip.

I have a new "You know you're obsessed w/ QAF when..."
...when you're writing an article about Iowa, see "Altoona" mentioned and immediately think of Gale's blooper talking about the dude from Altoona "smoking p***y".

Ommg hahahaha

I agree with the not being able to stop watching QAF. I watched it for the first time then a week and a half later re-watched it again. And then I've been watching a random episode every night but I pretty much watched 3/4 of the series again anyways I may make myself take a forced break because I want the boxset for my bday in October and I'm going to rewatch it then.

Glad you all enjoyed!

Took a roadtrip this weekend and got behind a truck that said "Kinney" on the back of it.

When you complete your 4th time watching the entire series, and you start thinking about when you'll start watching the series AGAIN!

I do this because so far, each time I watch the whole series, I see things I haven't seen before, I make connections to my life in ways I haven't previously, I reflect on how the series reflected true dynamics in the gay community with examples I hadn't noticed previously, etc.

When you start planning your trip to Toronto by researching where Debbie's house is, where Mel and Lindsey lived, what park the characters would take strolls in....
