I hope we can keep this celebration thread open and continue expressing our appreciation for QaF I've been watching the bonus cd's from each season that came with the boxed set and it's pretty amazing how the set was built. Everyone's favorite rooms, scenes and little secrets they revealed.

Sadly, the European version doesn't have all that footage! I've seen snippets on YT but I doubt that I've seen it all!

Fanforumers - Spotlight on the Queer as Folk board!!

On December 3rd, 2000 the tv world got changed. The pilot of the show Queer as Folk premiered on Showtime and since today hasn’t lost its appeal. They showed LGBT and contained homosexual relationships which was long overdue and we all enjoyed watching it and talk about it and express our deep interest and freedom of choosing sexuality on our own. “The show offers an unapologetic look at modern, urban gay and lesbian lives while addressing the most critical health and political issues affecting the community. Sometimes racy, sometimes sensitive and always straight to the heart, QUEER AS FOLK is groundbreaking television at its best.” Season 5 and Series Finale aired on August 7th 2005 and their topics and importance still is as recent as back then. The board opened not even two years later and until today is an active part of Fanforum. We Came For The Queer And Stayed For The Folk! 12 years have passed and just this very month they are celebrating this big milestone. The Queer as Folk board is a very active and fun board, in spite of them being a very small group. They LOVE having new people join in on the fun! We welcome all people who have an appreciation for the show to join and we love to hear others interpretation into the characters’ lives. Why not join them on the group re-watch of the series? Currently they are on Season 2, Episode 9. So maybe this is a good one for you? Their most popular actor threads are Gale Harold and Randy Harrison, besides that they have several very popular games as well. Which one would you choose to start posting on? What is a secret passion of the posters is to enter and go to conventions all over the world. The latest QaF conventions where in June 2013 Rise and Shine convention in L.A. and March 2014 was in Bilbao, Spain called Queens of The Road. The cast members in attendance were Gale Harold, Randy Harrison, Peter Paige and Scott Lowell. So maybe you’ve already stumbled across some of the posters already? Next year will be in Madrid, so maybe go together? If that isn’t convincing you yet, the two fantastic moderators ♥ Gale's Fragile Beauty ♥ and SojournHeart11 are sure a great reason and could pitch you some more reasons.
