That is a great point, Daggi. Blake was living with him at some point, so I can imagine he had a few things of his lying around.

Somehow, I don't think Ted got rid of any of his belongings. He seems the sentimental type who held on to stuff that meant something to him.

I think because Ted always (from what we knew) went for the same type...the young and blond guys typically, it was difficult for him to have real relationships.

Hmmm...thinking back, he did love Michael...so it was unrequited love. Of course this would go along with Ted choosing men who are unavailable to him.

I'm happy that at least Blake became what Ted needed and deserved in the end.

You're right.. Ted didn't have a good hand in choosing partners.. maybe in a kind of way Brian, was that Brian who said that?, was right when he said he didn't really want one bad enough

Yeah he did say something like that. I think part of Ted's problem was his self-esteem. He never thought he was good enough in any way. He didn't feel he was good looking enough and focussed on that a lot. He had a good heart but didn't feel that was enough for others to accept him. He knew his friends did but was always negative about guys wanting him. Even with Emmett he didn't feel good enough because he lost his job and Emmett was succeeding to he ended up on drugs because he was so unhappy. He even said he didn't want to be himself anymore .

It was only after he felt better about himself about beating drugs and getting the cosmetic surgery done that he felt he was good enough for people. He was good enough all along but just couldn't see it.

He met Blake again at the time they were both ready like they said to each before. They were both finally in the right place in their minds and lives and ready for each other .

Yes, Briam said that he has so low value of himself that he meets only people that mirror him this image he has of himself.

I loved the final scene of Ted when he celebrates his birthday with Emmett and says that even if he would stay alone and never find his soulmate, he would be happy. He is finally selfconfident that he does need another person to confirm his value. And the minute he says it, Blake comes back to his life.
