Domestic violence does not discriminate. It can happen to anyone of either sex and it's always so freaking brutal and terrible.

You're right too about men being abused by women and it isn't talked about hardly ever because men are made to feel that they must be strong and not cry and not talk about these things. It makes it hard though for them

There was a bit though out QAF - Justin getting bashed, Darren like you said and I think Emmett was starting to be abused by Ted a bit - he was so high he didn't even realise how he was hurting Em. Those scenes must have been hard to do for them.
That one scene is so crazy. It's uncomfortable to watch, TBH. When Ted is at the height of his crystal addiction. They're in bed after I assume an entire night of sex, and Ted's still going at it. And Emmett has obviously had enough of it, and he kept telling Ted he did not want anymore of the crystal or sex. He kept trying to get Emmett to try the crystal, and Emmett had to pull away to get Ted off him. I can imagine how difficult that had to have been for them to act out. Scott said he had to go to some dark places within his psyche to pull that off, and I'm sure it took some time for both of them to feel like themselves again.

Yeah absolutely - the other thing is too it's not like a movie where they have time to do the shoot at the end or go away after the movie is finished and sort it out - it was tv and they probably did all the episodes i order I am guessing which meant not much time between takes to decompress and regroup.

So true, acting is so much more than learning lines. You become the character, sometimes that's a good thing, other times it's not so good.

Does anyone have a scene or storyline they'd like to discuss?

Well, I just watched the scene where the vigil was held for victims of the bombing. The fact those bigots showed up not in support of the fallen but to shout out those hateful remarks is ghoulish. This really shows that no matter whatever happens, the extent to which someone's hate for a certain group of people that goes will never have limits. Some people are just rotten to the core, and this moment depicts this hard reality as best it could. Violence is never the answer, but it is understandable why Ben snapped.

seeing something like that just makes me cold inside.. I always thought a desaster like that would make people getting closer together.. but thwre is obviously so much hate in the world... I always think I am glad to live in a pretty openminded country.. and still there is a lot of hate too..

It's mind-bobbling how much hatred some people hold within themselves. I don't see how they think that way, for the very simple reason that my own brain cannot, will not function that way. Some people just have evil spirits. Sad.

Well, one thing's for sure: Ben lost whatever cool he had left and unleashed one beast of a temper, thus the term coined by Brian... Not-so Zen Ben was born.

Small victory for Emmett after throwing that punch.

I loved that though. It was funny when Ben looked at Brian and incredulously said..."you call me Zen Ben?"

that look was brilliant Michale must have known that Brian called him that, but he never dared to tell Ben

It amazes me that sexuality causes so much hatred and problems. People are more upset by who someone is sleeping with sometimes than with people who are murdered. Why is that? I don't understand why it causes so much violence.

that is a pretty good question.. it shouldn't bother anybody but the two people doing it, what happens with whom, as long as it is in both sides agreement.. as if there isn't enough other things to have problems with in the world.. love shouldn't be something causing hate, crimes and discrimination..

Exactly - there is so many issues in the world that need to be sorted out and discussed and people focus so much on this - focus on fixing wars and hunger and things like that
