I re-watched that scene last night and I can't get over how sincere Brian was. How could no one else NOT see it.

How/why anybody could feel differently about that is beyond my reach of understanding. Brian and Justin had been through SO MUCH in the 5 years they were together, and never before could Brian verbally express how amazing Justin made him feel. Whatever was on Brian's heart to say either got translated through his and Justin's sexual relationship or through his gestures. Never vocally. And in light of all the terrifying events that occurred, Brian became even more emotionally vulnerable than before. That bombing only made Brian realize Just how short life is, and how important a role Justin plays in his.
So why on earth would Brian fake everything he said here to Justin? All those beautiful and romantic words he expressed had been on his heart for the longest, but his mind just kept getting in the way of that. He was a very romantic guy, he just never liked to acknowledge that about himself, ever... "promise not to tell".  Thank you for the video, Deborah.  __________________

I loved reading that, Denise. I feel exactly the same way. I was just discussing this the other day, while finding scenes for a video. IMO, Brian was definitely ready for commitment.

512-513 were just too abrupt. They should have at least carried it over an extra episode or two. Too many things were glossed over, like Ted in an abusive relationship. That was a really important storyline.
