I think he expected and welcomed it. He hadn't seen Brian in months, and was able to see him in all his glory and definitely saw what he missed. Justin wasn't waiting for Brian in L.A. although he acted self-righteous dying the Syphilis scare, like Brian said…he could have given it to him.
