there's one scene of them in the backroom in season 4 but they cut before it's really getting interesting

I don't think it lost its edge. Yea there isn't as much sex, there is more story and depth. Oh course that isn't what QAF is all about, but I think its nice, mixing some more story with the sex. I know the sex is great to watch (and believe me it is) but the story around the characters is what has kept me watching.

I wouldn't mind seeing Hal or Gale running around naked, that would be very nice

well, in the last episode it definitely felt like nothing of the edge is lost

not just for the sex tho.

canada, israel, australia, belgium, brazil - i know they get it too. i don't know about the rest of the world. we never got it in germany but it gets imported a lot over here.
