I felt so sad for Debbi,because Vic died before she had a chance to speak to him about that argument they had. I think that fake x-mas party was something she needed to do for both of them.
I think Brian wasn't there because Debbi still had hard feelings for him too,right? (need to rewatch )

I rewatched the scene, Justin was there for the Christmas party. Brian was the only one missing and he had left for "Ibiza".

aww, we talk so much about going to Ibiza,but I didn't remember it was on the same time frame as Debbi's fake x mas party
so,after Brian got back from "Ibiza" he didn't tell her anything about that until he talked to her that night on the street

We don't see them interact at all after the slap untill that scene in the street. Which I love. It's in my top 10 of favorite scene. I really love she's the first person he tells because he wants to. I know he told Ted too, but the situation was different,Ted already could see something was wrong and asked him about it. While with Debbie, it was just what he wanted and needed. And I adore he calls her "mother".

I love that too especially that it didn't take much for them to make up. And as soon as Brian said he had cancer, Debbie completely changed her attitude and immediately acted like a mother
