Yup exactly. So instead of truly dealing with his fear, he went with anger instead.

I think anger was a stressreleaver for him.. he needed a ventil to get his fear out of him.. even if anger wasn'T the right way to do so.. and gladly he realised that revengen wasn't what he really wanted.. it was codys way to deal with things.. I would say the moment he threatend Chris was when he realised that when he stayed on that trip and with the posse, he wouldn't be any different than Chris..

I agree. That made him realize that this was not the path he wanted to go down and he walked away.

Yeah I agree - I was glad that he was able to turn it round and walk away. I think I remember him saying that was a very hard scene to do. There was planes going overhead or something and he had to hold a gun. It would be a scary scene to do I think. Does anyone remember seeing that in an interview?

Hmm no I haven't seen that but it sounds like it would be very scary!! It was such an intense scene. I've said it before, I really thought the gun was going to go off and Chris was going to get killed.

I am so glad that didn't happen and he got away with it somehow. I don't know how you could live with that on your conscience at all.

I think the scary part is not to have the gun in your hand, but to point on a person.. I guess I would get shaky hands by then..

Totally! He was only about himself and what he wanted - he just wanted to use everyone to get what he wanted and he didn't care about anything else. I mean he took Justin to the construction site where Chris worked - how awful was that for Justin but he was just trying to stir him up further.

he was searching for trouble everywhere.. and who came in his way was used to do so too.. an if he didn't want to, he searched it for him

Very, very true. They were practically vigilantes scoping out whatever troubles lurking, not really being rational at all. It was a pretty dangerous mindset to be in. If Justin had not come to his senses, gosh only knows what would have happened... he would have either ended up dead or alternatively, killed Chris.

Thankfully NONE of that happened, though.

Yeah, I think he would have ended up in a really bad situation that would ruin his entire life.
