Scott Lowell made an interesting point in that video that I hadn't considered 'til this watch through (and I just finished the season again 30 seconds ago lol). He called it the "SPE" factor (sex per episode lol) and said how it'd gone way down...so true. There's not nearly enough sex in this season! I remember at one point thinking "Brian and Justin haven't gotten it on in like 5 episodes...?!" Some of it was Brian and the chemo stuff, but not the whole time.

Season 3 was just so HOT and steamy of a season...to be followed up by such a gut-punchingly dramatic and emotional-havoc-wreaking season was tough. Through a lot of it I found myself thinking "I just want to rewatch season 3..."

And then to end with Brian asking Justin to move in and he's about to leave...ahhh. Also, totally spotted a parallel with Brian pretending he wasn't going on the ride to make Justin go to Hollywood to Ugh.

That's true!! Now that I think about it--not a lot of sex in that season. Not for Justin's lack of trying lol. You mentioned the Chinese herb shop and that scene makes me cackle lol, I love it!!

Season three was the HOTTEST hands down. My Lord

It's like ugh, right when they finally get to where they should be, something gets in the way.

Hahaha I love that scene, too! Oh, going to try to ask my acupuncturist about the "life gate" thing today. And it's true, it wasn't for Justin's lack of trying. Kind of nice to see Justin being the one to go after it so much and get turned down for a change this season, I guess.

Oh my goodnesssss, you are so right. I actually just rewatched 3x01 just because I needed to remember some of that vibe.

YES, agreed!!! They get so delayed. Guess it's another case of "not the right timing". UGH.

Something else about this season, there's hardly any Babylon. Everyone's too busy being sad?

EDIT: So, good news! I talked to my acupuncturist about the episode, and he said, "Yes, restoring fire in the life gate is a totally legit thing" and I asked if it was for impotence and he said, "Yes, that's exactly what they'd be treating with that". I told him the little old Chinese guy's "We make you hard like rock!" comment and he cracked up!! He thought it was awesome. I have even more respect for this show now, knowing that they used legit TCM (Chinese Medicine) terms!!

Just had to share with you guys.

Which episode? There's one where he has his arms out in the wingspan and you can kind of see the top of his...equipment, and you can see it from behind when he goes to check his messages in the first episode, but I don't think there's another full frontal shot?

First of all~ Chris! Bless u for that pic!! I always tried to pause that scene bc I could tell it probably showed something, but wow! Maybe the pic Addie is talking about is the one that Deborah posted a couple weeks ago? It was from 201 right before Jennifer came over..... he was done with the trick that began to complain and he walks toward the camera and omg! I have to say it was only a millisecond bc I hadn’t even noticed it before. Maybe she’ll be kind enough to post it again so we all can drool? God he is a beautiful man!!

Haha, of course!! I kid you not, one of my first thoughts after I caught that was, "I have to get a screen cap to share with them on !" It was a bit challenging to get it paused just right - I watched the scene quite a few times because of it. But worth it!!

And I was thinking of the pic you're referring to, as well. He's got his arms in the wing span. And yes, maybe she'll be kind enough to post it again? I agree - I totally don't remember seeing that much of him! He is crazy beautiful...
