 I got the soundtracks from the first three seasons and I just heard the song from when Justin is in Daphne's apartment and he's daydreaming about Brian. I've been wanting to find out what that song was!__________________

Agreed.
I do think it's a nod to Brian sitting around with a cig and blowing smoke rings, though. We do get some shots of him alone and doing that when he's missing Justin. __________________
