I think it was definitely later. I would think that they would have spent the entire night after work (308), "making love". They most likely didn't resurface for a few days (or weeks after) which is why it was so surprising to the gang.
 Seriously though, I don't think the episodes followed any "next day" (or sometimes "next week") timelines. __________________

that would be my guess too... they spent quite a while in their very own bubble to f
out their brains before appear at Babylon... their friends didn't seem to have talked to them before they saw them dancing, at least not all of them__________________

We have no concept of time for none of these episodes. The only thing we could tell is what time of year it was, with the presence or absence of snow, and that's it.

I think there were times when they did reference dates and timelines, but then they often didn't make sense so it was perhaps better that there was a fluidity to the storylines
